If it takes 2-3 years to get a battery, that's even better. The car does everything I need it to do right now. So in 2-3 years, the old battery will be closer to the end of its useful life.

At that point, I get a brand new battery for free. So I get to use the car for 7 years and then Chevy gives me what is basically a new car with longer range and a new drive train warranty.

When I Googled for gas cars under warranty for fire hazard, the results were overwhelming. The number is millions and millions. So I'm betting you are embarrassed because yours is one of those. Yes, we have to redouble our efforts in the midterms. Republicans are doing everything they can to keep Democrats from voting and they are even trying to take control of elections in heavily Democratic counties. Plus, it will be harder to bring Democrats out in force without Trump on the ballot. I'm just hoping Trump continues to keep himself in the news.

The bottom line message for Democrats is, "Get involved!"

absolutely amazing to me that Americans, children of the enlightenment and supposedly live and breathe democracy would choose lies and proto-fascism. Trumpist Americans are no better than italians or germans or japanese or confederates who chose racial hatred lies and resentment over their better natures.
