Agree, herd immunity is complex, but with one of the “herders” in ICU (Boris Johnson) and his nation piling up the bodies, it’s not a fundamental way to respond.

Sounds more like a sociological study than a statistical one, though many would argue that stats is a soft science.

The stats side attempts to draws inferences from relationships, so it has a broad scope. To the extent sociological factors (or any others) can be measured they can be studied statistically, so what is your point?

Testing data has been erratic. The number of tests each day varies widely, which throws off number of positive tests.

Also, Georgia reports data at 12pm and 7pm each day. So today's numbers should be finalized in a few more minutes.

Also look into who bought Thermo Fisher stock before they acquired Qiagen (diagnostic/test kits) on 3rd March for $10B...and the subsequent approval of Thermo Fisher for test kits by FDA post dividend , and who praised Thermo Fisher ...

Maybe this wouldn't be an issue if Trump hadn't shipped 18 tons of the stuff to China when he knew we would need it.

Give away supplies already paid for by taxpayers.

Use government money to replenish the supplies using taxpayer money.

Pay a higher prices, and make sure the purchases go to a major donor. (The money comes back to Trump as political donations.)
