In a close race, everything matters. And I expect this to be a close race.

While a lot of people were trying to paint what's happened as a liberal overreaction driven by the "mainstream media", you had Trump declaring himself a wartime president, several Republican governors being as pro-active and aggressive as anyone, and gun sales going through the roof. Seems like the right wingers were reacting, or overreacting, just as much as the left wingers.

Agreed, and also that Rs don't mind them taking advantage openly like this, it's seen as more honest than Dems. He will get re elected.

I don’t blame people wanting to protect themselves and their family given that many governors are releasing inmates early from prison and some police forces have headcount shortages due to coronavirus.

I’d recommend more guns & extra ammo to all my survivalist friends lol.

Today is turning out to be one of the worst days of the epidemic. France, Belgium and the UK are having terrible times right now. Belgium is now third worst of major nations in per capita deaths.

World deaths will be up more than 25% today Tuesday over Monday. Three day numbers are still ok because of a good Sunday.

Maybe France is including deaths from prior days that weren't in the count...

Disappointing to see the numbers go the wrong way two days in a row.

Why is Louisiana getting more testing per million than the two most infected states? Is the federal government expecting Louisiana to blow past NY and NJ in terms of cases?

Trump is controlling where testing kits go. Coroners are worried that the dead will not be tested at all. That means deaths due to the disease will be undercounted.
