He is discussing a real experience which is relevant to the conversation and you are dissing him with some language nonsense. You obviously were living in a bubble. Rural red voting areas live in such bubbles. They never travel far from home. A drive of 20 miles is a huge undertaking. Vacations are taken at home; a lawn chair, a barbecue, and a weekday off work = vacation. They marry right out of high school and within their own small town bubble, the result being that their children will continue to live in the bubble because that is all they know.

Since when does showing someone an alternate point of view to broaden their perspective constitute a personal attack? Because I suggested that his sample base might not be representative of the country as a whole? That's attacking?

I've got Prostrate Cancer and I'm 47 years old. I see a lot of doctors in many different fields, including cardiologist due to racing heart conditions. If I recorded what I was told, you'd still call me a liar. Well, shame on you. I had to postpone a surgery till January last year due to my UHC deductible. I'd post my deductible, but I've read thru this thread, you'll just call me a liar. Again, shame on you.

From radiation, to Chemo, I have yet to hear one person say anything positive about our current health care system. I have zero clue where you guys are getting your figures from, I really don't (Only 20% are unhappy with it????). It's only a matter of time before I'll be gone and I can accept it. Regardless, this thread will still be going and the absolutely mean and ridiculous posts will still be going on and on, I'm convinced of it. No civility.
