I actually think that Trump and Putin will not make a deal to end the war. Trump has a poison pill in negotiations. Trump wants $500 billion in Ukrainian rare earth metals and other natural resources. Much of the proven reserves of rare earth metals are in the occupied territories. Putin will not want to give Trump anything.
So far, Rubio is getting his clock cleaned by Russia's negotiators. Rubio is coming away with nothing in negotiations.
Trump's willingness to throw Ukraine to the wolves is predictable. He is still pissed that Zelensky wouldn't give him dirt on Hunter Biden. But Trump is too dumb to just do what Putin wants and will end up blowing up any deal if he doesn't get his $500 billion. That will then leave Europe to support and defend Ukraine as Republicans will pull all US support.

The most American thing Trump could do is round up all the registered democrats and put them into camps and cancel all elections going forward. None of this would be illegal as its for the betterment of the country. It's hilarious watching libs squirm when you try to ask them to name a single bad thing Trump has done. Hopefully Trump and Putin make an agreement distance ourselves from Europe and other dumb places and form a strong axis of power so we can start taking back what is owed to us.

Yes. There are some very clear tells that Trump is nowhere near getting a deal done.
1. Russia has literally promised absolutely nothing ! Zippo. Nada! Putin is leading Trump around like a child and letting him celebrate nothing.
2. Trump is getting angry. When Trump gets angry he makes a fool of himself. His insane takes on the war are getting called out by Republicans. Trumps psychopathic ego believes he should only need a couple of days to get everyone to bend to his will. So he will get more crazy as this drags on and he looks more inept.
3. Putin is defiantly bombing despite Trump mouthpieces acting like the war is over.
4. Trump has frozen Europe and Ukraine out of discussions so now nobody Trusts Trump in any way. They need to be involved in any deal.
