I do apologize. What you said wasn't an outright lie.
But you were misleading. Biden was not lying.
Biden said just a couple of days ago in his speech that Al-Qaeda had been "diminished" in Afghanistan. "Diminished" means "smaller, but not completely gone". Given that context, today when he said they had no "presence" he obviously meant there was no "significant presence". He definitely wasn't lying.
As for his other statement about Americans getting to the airport. He said he was not aware of Americans having trouble but he did vow to get them out if that was the case. Also not a lie.
