Thanks for the continued disinformation about Arkansas & other things.

Here in Arkansas, again measures have been in place for weeks and continue to get more serious. Today more trails have closed where people never congregate, but where one might have occasional difficulty being near another person.

Of course we should do more.

We went from 1 case to 25 cases in a week on Fort Jackson and likely more but DOD has ordered posts not to release infection numbers.

Terrible idea since it is non-essential to have these extra new boots ready in the coming months. I remember week of 1 of boot camp everyone caught the flu within a 24 hr people. It was hell.

I’m sure the DOD won’t release infection numbers lol. Because they’re not in the business of counting civilian casualties or whatever. It’s a civilian virus? A new excuse every day of the week.

Commander Orange has classified all COV data for all of the military. Adding those numbers to the "civilian" totals makes him look bad.

You see a conspiracy everywhere you look, don't you? Maybe it's because the sites you read are lying to you.

If you wanted to rig the stats for political purposes, you wouldn't go after the NVSS database. Most news outlets rely on sites such as the Worldometer. Those sites get their statistics from sources such as state health departments, not the CDC.

I don't have a problem with that. The military's COVID data probably should be classified for national security purposes. You don't want our enemies to know a our level of readiness.

Other countries already know the US level of readiness. There is no country with a military which would assume the US military is virus free. Putin knows better.

Ha ha, with trump in charge our readiness is obviously compromised. Perhaps we should keep his identity secret.

Of course, but you wouldn't want Putin or anyone else to know exactly how many of our troops are sick. Or at lest you wouldn't want to make Putin's job easier by publishing the data.

it's tricky with the military...the rules change in almost everything.

In the military the mission is more important than the individual.

You don't get to say 'well we had to lower our capabilities, fail our mission and tell our enemies that we are not at full strength - because you know, we were sick.'

You can do that in civilian life but not in the military.
