Italy continues to lead the way down the hill - they just reported a minus 23% day! outstanding.
3 day average for Italy is minus 11%.
That should encourage people everywhere.

But as you (and others) have pointed out repeatedly, weekend stats tend to be especially wonky.
Yeah, about that... wrote:

sure. but the trend toward negative numbers started before the weekend. So there is reason to be optimistic. It's not just one or two days.

You really are a moron.
You only resort name calling.
Not an argument.

Yea, Rigged would never do that. Ever.

Wrong. You can't tell the difference when I give people nicknames vs others who simply call others aholes, stupid, idiots, etc. Try again.
Nice to see some good news. In NYC when do you see the peak and the getting-better phase, if you don't mind sharing your thoughts? I don't know at how many days after Italy we stand. I feel like I'm in the ocean watching a gigantic wave forming and I can only wait for it to crash upon us.

Once in a while, I call you "Facts hurt" it is not the same as when Sourbuns calls people idiots or stupid or just curses.

Calls to hospitals continue to increase, according one to a source of mine, which should be a leading indicator. NYC may see spikes for another week before peaking.

My uncle is a pastor for a small Anglican church, which if you know anything about denominations is what I would call very old and conservative. He's also 70 yrs old.
We taught him how to live stream on FB so he could reach his congregation.
Some people adapt and use their heads in the face of a crisis.....others are simply ignorant and stupid.
Also.....I have no issue with churches holding service provided social distancing is enforced. However, most churches can't do this unless you enforce a strict reduced attendance policy, space out pews/chairs, etc. It can be done, but you have to get ahead of it.

It can't be done. It is impossible to do this safely. We are still finding more and more about how this virus spreads and it appears that just keeping six feet apart won't cut it at church. It lives in the air and it lives on surfaces. Nowhere inside the church is safe.
To keep an entire congregation six feet apart would be a logistical nightmare anyway. People are people. Congregations congregate.
Plus, most congregations skew older, which makes it more dangerous still.
The only weapon we have against this virus right now is for as many as possible to stay home as much as possible. If you are a congregation that loves each other and loves your community then you will stay home.
Yep, and people do not need to be in a physical structure to worship... worshippers are well aware of that unless they choose to be blind.

I don't make any predictions...I'm just trying to describe what the data show.
I know Cuomo said that the data he's seeing have stopped getting radically worse.

Of COURSE the GOP wants fewer people to vote. Just like it wants fewer people with health insurance. Bunch of anti-American sociopaths.
Healthcare premium are expected to rise 4-40% next year to help recoup COVID-19 expenses. The percentage will be at the lower end in states using the ACA marketplace. States opting out of the marketplace will see much higher increases in premiums. Expect people in the opt-out states to stop buying expensive TrumpCare. Then expect many of the hospitals in those states to flee.

Italy really has shut down according to mobility rates. FWIW.
https://www.gstatic.com/covid19/mobility/2020-03-29_IT_Mobility_Report_en.pdfCompare NY State. Basically Manhattan is the only county coming close to Italy's numbers.

What do you think about Basic Training still occurring?
We went from 1 case to 25 cases in a week on Fort Jackson and likely more but DOD has ordered posts not to release infection numbers.
