this isn't really on topic as hes not a youtuber but has anyone seen this guy before: https://www.instagram.com/kellenrunsphilly ...no opinion of him really either way, but im truly just wondering how does someone make a living from doing a running focused instagram full time and not having an actual real job lol? the dude apparently is solely a content creator but i think he only does this instagram and no youtube or anything else. he's a former drug addict so he focuses on the story of how running helped him overcome that and its his new passion/activity. he seems to be involved in his local community and its all positive stuff.
im just baffled as to how posting short videos of your running outfits and workouts on instagram can translate into any amount of meaningful $. are multiple brands really giving this guy tens of thousands of dollars simply for him operating an instagram account of himself? it doesnt make any sense to me lmao and im admittedly jealous if this guy is somehow making between $50-100k for doing this. does anyone knowledgeable about the money aspects of content creation have any estimate on how much someone like this guy is making? i have to imagine he's making peanuts and not more than say $10k from an instagram...he has 100k followers but like...how can they generate anything close to a normal white collar job salary? just crazy to me as to seeing a mid 30s something 'full time' content creator and hes apparently just posting short running clips and thats his entire job
