its data show that the stay at home orders are working quite well to reduce spread of the virus.
Can't say I understand this tech very well - probably there are subtleties, but good stuff.

What happens when unemployment benefits pay is near the national median job? What happens when our "essential" employees realize they can earn more by sitting home than by stocking our shelves? Not much incentive to get back to work.
Here is an example, in CA the max unemployment benefit is $450 per week, throw in the extra $600 per week from the bailout and of lot (not all) of peeps will be happy to stay home.

But what I am referring to is that trump refuses to open the exchanges to new people. Technically they are open if you lost your healthcare from a job loss, but you have to run circles proving that is so. Trump, because he is a total lowlife evil scumbag, refused to just say 'anyone who wants to buy an ACA plan can do so without proving loss of insurance.'
This is one of the lowest, slimiest things Republicans have done to America. I get red mist just thinking about it.

If the handling of the corona virus doesn't defeat Trump and a bunch of Republicans, Health Insurance may take care of it and cause the problems for the Repubs it did in 2018. I don't understand why the GOP continued to fight the ACA. It's an issue they cannot win on. The mere fact that it still in litigation can make it an issue in November. They should have just dropped it.

To be re-elected, they have to win their primaries. They are keenly aware of the Tea Party types, who tend to drive the primaries; and the Tea Party came into being in large part as a response to the ACA. (Well, that--and having a man of color in the White House.)

He was fine when things were going well and he could pat himself on the back and hold ego boosting rallies.
This however is an entirely different prospect and you’re right he just isn’t cut out for it. He looks terrified, defeated and like he’d rather not be there.
