I am shocked that people cannot see this by now.

I trust the CDC over Fox News any day. He's trying to make it sound like coronavirus is hard to catch. This is part of the Fox News agenda. You should know better, agip.

FFS those are direct quotes that are cited by many, many outlets.
he made a video - take a look at the first 10 minutes if you want a direct source.

and anyway, viruses *are* hard to catch if you take precautions.
How many people would get viruses if they washed their hands religiously, were careful of what they touched and didn't get close enough to people to get coughed on? Some fraction of the number who do get viruses.
This isn't magic here. It's physics of objects moving in space.
Great distraction, blame the victims. We know many poor people have no hygienic facilities, but even in rich countries it is “easy” to catch the virus.

I don't have time to watch a video, but I'll still take the CDC over one doctor.
If the opinion of the medical community changes then CDC will change its web site.
But more importantly, the solution is absolutely NOT just telling people to wash their hands!!!
The solution, for now, is for everyone to stay home if at all possible. All states should now have strict stay at home orders. Lockdowns are the one prevention method that has been proven to work.

It's not physics. It's human behavior. "Just be careful" doesn't work.

But in reality, it is very hard to actually follow those precautions. Right down the line, most people will not wash their hands often enough, well enough, long enough. Most people continue to touch their face - it is hard not to. And some of the droplets are emitted even without coughing or sneezing, just hard breathing or maybe even less. And there is some controversary if it requires droplets, or if the finer aerosol might also transfer the virus. Add all this up, and the authorities come up with recommendations that seem overly strict, but they factor in a lot of things.
This virus is a real bugger for many reasons.

I've heard examples of large church congregations getting it and others. Stay at home directives and social distancing orders are there for a reason so I would hate to see the importance of the role they play diminished.
A lot is not know conclusively about this, so best to error on the side of caution.
What you posted is crap. You have like 7 erros in a few sentences. Just laughable.

Cuomo will be the nominee when it’s all said and done, who wins between him and Trump is anyone’s guess and hinges a lot on the state of the economy around election time,
No he won't. Cuomo has skeletons in his closet he doesn't want revealed as almost any politician from New York has. Married and divorced from a Kennedy, had a domestic partner for years that ended in 2019. He will never run for President.
Trump's sure is creepy.
Remember when the Republicans used to lecture the rest of us about 'family values'?

they will again lecture us on family values, as soon as a Dem is in the WH.
And they'll also lecture us on deficits.
Etc.

What i wrote is correct.
This is the last time i will ever speak to you, and it is to simply say that you have rightly earned the scorn of most everyone on this messageboard. It has become painful to witness, and frankly, embarrassing.
Do you have no pride?
Absence of self-respect is the chief quality of a trumpanzee.

Excuse me. I thought you were correcting my usage of 'whomever'. The 'chose' was a typo, and so obvious that i overlooked it even upon a re-examination.
Don’t worry, sally made a “typo” several times posting in Cyrillic. The mods told me I can’t call people russian agents, but they made an exception for sally because of this. Funny.
Why would Trump want to hear from a private citizen with dementia?
April Fools.

From Harvard Health Publication, "Covid-19 Basics"
How does coronavirus spread?
The coronavirus is thought to spread mainly from person to person. This can happen between people who are in close contact with one another. Droplets that are produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes may land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby, or possibly be inhaled into their lungs.
Coronavirus can also spread from contact with infected surfaces or objects. For example, a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes.
there's no doubt the disease *can* be passed through air.
but from what i've read that just doesn't happen much.

Coronavirus is spread through airborne droplets and fomites. If were truly an aerosol type transmission (like measels or chickenpox) then we'd be really screwed.
