Possible signs of a natural gas glut in Europe. Prices falling. After talk of running out of gas. Thank you globalism. It has enabled the invisible hand to solve a carpload of problems. let’s stay globalists eh’?
There is a problem though. How is the EU gonna save the planet by buying LNG from ships? This is one of the biggest "climate-sins" the "green" leaders of Europe have been talking about for years now. Is it ok of a sudden? The world doesn't need saving anymore?
Like I said, the invisible hand of capitalism is solving problems. the profit motive is a massively powerful force. The gas is arriving on tanker ships instead of through a pipeline. Some is being diverted from China, which is sort of sweet revenge for their backing of Putin.
The bad news is that the glut is in Spain and somehow the gas needs to get to the cold places in Europe and it's not completely clear how that is going to happen.
But regardless, energy prices in Germany are quickly falling back to normal which is a great sign they will find a way to make this work.
At the cost of the tax payer. Germany and Austria are going DEEP into debth to slow down this wreck-train.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz set out a 200 billion euro ($194 billion) "defensive shield", including a gas price brake and a cut in sales tax for the fuel, to protect companies and households from the impact of soaring energ...
How many child kidnappings in Bolivia keep you up at night?
If your answer isn't zero you're lying.
How much money have you sent to Bolivia to help them look for the children?
If the answer is zero. Why don't you care about the children???
Americans sincerely do not care about Ukrainians, it's all about "sticking it" to Russia for them. As a matter of fact, I'm strongly convinced that majority of Americans are unable to feel empathy altogether. Warmongering and gun-worshipping as a hobby, that's all.
Unable to condemn Russia’s invasion that has killed tens of thousands of people. Accuses others of lacking empathy.

churlish fool
What's up dum*ass? Learn about EU politics to keep up. "Green" political parties are in charge in Germany and Austria and the motto is: "Der Kampf gegen den Klimawandel ist ein zentrales Thema der Regierung".
LNG ships are pretty much the worst way to get energy when it comes to climate protection.
So once again, how are we supoosed to save the planet while buying LNG?
Unable to condemn Russia’s invasion that has killed tens of thousands of people. Accuses others of lacking empathy.
Yup, you’re a f*cking moron.
Oh hello, dum*ass! While I feel sad for Ukrainian refugees, Ukrainian government is absolutely at fault here. They pokered hard and lost. The motto was so simple: no NATO, no Russian invasion and yet they managed to ruin the country and have 100.000 Ukrainians killed and millions more as refugees. And still no NATO. Like, never ever.

Absolutely fascinating, Americans absolutely didn't like Soviet Union stationing missiles in Cuba, which led to this little thing called Bay of Pigs Invasion and also Cuban Missile Crisis.
"The US announced it would not permit offensive weapons to be delivered to Cuba and demanded that the weapons already in Cuba be dismantled and returned to the Soviet Union"
So what would have happend if Russia was just as stubborn as Zelensky now and would have continued on shipping missiles to Cuba?
How on earth dense 'Murricans won't understand, that Russia would also not tolerate NATO and it's missiles in Ukraine? Hypocricy much.
Don't miss the point of my post, which is: "Be good to your neighbours and all will be fine".
And if you gonna be installing weapons on your property pointing to you neighbour, don't wonder why they come knocking on your door.
Pure idiocy: have a 2300km border with Russia, yet be planning on bringing NATO weapons to your country.
If Ukrainians so crave European and American lifestyle, they're welcome to come to Europe or the US and live/work here. What most certainly doesn't work is making use of EU funds and NATO weapons, yet living the chaotic slav-lifestyle that is prevalent in Ukraine.

An even bigger problem is that the EU is completely unequipped to move the amounts of LNG it needs to move because the infrastructure doesn't exist between Spanish ports and the rest of Europe.

I don't think you know as much about all things Cuba, America and the Soviet Union as you think you do.
The Bay of Pigs invasion didn't have anything to do with Soviet weapons in Cuba. This was a coup attempt.
The missile crisis was resolved by the US agreeing to move missiles from Turkey, if I remember correctly, if the Soviets removed theirs from Cuba. The Soviets agreed to this.
The US got the better of that deal. The missiles the US agreed to remove were obsolete and were already scheduled to be replaced by more modern ones. Which had longer range and didn't need to be stationed so close to the USSR.
Try studying about things like this before posting about things that you only have cursory knowledge of. It makes you look silly.

I thought Ukraine was in Europe.
Living conditions and lifestyle are not defined by geographical, but political situation. So yeah, if Ukrainians want European standard of living, then they should go to Europe.
The ones that do that and survive here, do not care anymore about Ukraine, as they understand, that everyone is in charge of their own life. Some others turn around and go home, once they understand, that their chaotic slavic mentality has no place in Western society.
And then there are delusionists, that think, that Western prosperity is going to come to Ukraine once it becomes a part of the EU or NATO. In reality, Western investors can't wait to come to Ukraine to absorb it instead. That's what's awaiting Ukraine.
Literally one hour ago you posted: "Ukraine is NOT a NATO country and never will be." Yet, now you're saying that Russia won't tolerate NATO and its missiles in Ukraine. Which is it?
Imagine being to able to understand, that while some country is doing everything in it's power to become a NATO member, it might also become absolutely unable to achieve such goal, because another country intervened in the process.
If Russia would have not intervened, Ukraine would become a NATO member. Now it never will.

If Russia would have not intervened, Ukraine would become a NATO member. Now it never will.
Imagine not realizing that Russia's invasion has hastened Ukraine joining NATO, rather than prevented it. Ukraine went from being 10+ years away from NATO membership to probably joining in the next few years.

I know considerably more about Cuba, America and the Soviet Union than you know about Ukraine and Russia. You not knowing Ukrainian and Russian languages is already a big handicap, since you can't read documents and articles in those languages. Not everything is translated.
Either way, the moral of the story is, that Americans know very well how it feels when you have missiles facing you from a neighbouring country. Therefore you should be able to understand the logic of Russia not wanting NATO and it's missiles in Ukraine.

Ukraine is a corrupt hell hole. It doesn't even remotely qualify to be in NATO. Unless of course, the US wants to start a war and assures Ukraine that it can be in NATO and causes Zelensky to start strutting around sticking his finger in Russia's eye as if he was already in NATO. And now here we are with 25% of Ukraine destroyed with no end to the war in sight.
Imagine not realizing that Russia's invasion has hastened Ukraine joining NATO, rather than prevented it. Ukraine went from being 10+ years away from NATO membership to probably joining in the next few years.
Like I said, Ukraine never ever will join NATO. NATO is not going to accept a country that is in war.
And Russia and the US will make sure that Ukraine stays in the war for as long as they want it. The only thing Ukraine is going to join is a war-torn sh*thole club, next to Afghanistan and Syria.
So they supposed adult in the room is making generalized statements about 350 million Americans based upon isolated past actions of the US power structure, while making criticisms of West Media on a Western Media platform that provides and allows space for these criticisms.

So much to respond to. Is Ukraine situated in Europe or Asia. One of us seems confused.
You say that, chaotic slavic mentality has no place in Western society. I've read history books that say some Western/Central European nations had similar thoughts in the 1930's/40's. How did that work out for western, central and eastern European nations.
Finely, prosperity will come to Ukraine once the war is over. Yes there will be entities looking to invest in Ukraine. But to suggest that somehow western nations will "absorb Ukraine" is ridiculous. This is what Russia is trying to do and the West is trying to prevent.

Nothing you've ever posted has suggested you have much insight into Russia or Ukraine beyond what one reads online, and you've frequently demonstrated a profound lack of knowledge about American culture.
Guess what? There will still be NATO missiles in countries neighboring Russia.
Imagine not realizing that Russia's invasion has hastened Ukraine joining NATO, rather than prevented it. Ukraine went from being 10+ years away from NATO membership to probably joining in the next few years.

I guess you're off the lunatic claims that Russia was just invading to liberate the people of the Donbas. Now it's about NATO missiles. I guess it's hard to be consistent when the Kremlin keeps sending mixed messages.
