BS. Cuomo is ordering and accumulating equipment NY will need because infections haven't peaked. It's called planning for the future, which Trump and the troglodytes that blindly follow him don't grasp. Nothing is being withheld that is currently needed.

3/29 data were the best of the series, and it wasn't even close.

They are actually suspiciously good - I'd guess that 3/30 data will be a 'catchup' day in which data not logged will appear.

Italy's band of new cases hit 11 days. Spain's hit 7 days (and is a nice bell curve). France is messy.

That's not what I see. If you go to the US page and click on "yesterday" then you see new cases in every state.

Concerning the shipping of PPE to China by the Trump administration, I think the criticism is very, very misguided. I read the CNN article and while there are plenty of valid criticisms of Tiny's lies at the time, the central idea that we should not have sent PPE to China is absolutely wrong.

China needed that equipment. That equipment may have saved lives in China and slowed the spread of the virus. Now China is in a position to return the favor and they are starting to do just that. This is how international cooperation is supposed to work and I applaud the Trump administration for abandoning its "America First" policy in this instance.

All your figures remain speculation. There is no universal testing anywhere and standards vary significantly amongst countries. You are trying to measure a landscape seen through a cloud.

well these are deaths, not testing (except for one stat). So that takes away some vagueness.

But agreed, attributing a cause of death is not an exact science and that may be messing with the data.

but probably if the standards stay the same, changes in data will be meaningful.

Of course it wasn't a bad thing to help China with supplies.

But it doesn't fit with the "America first" theme.

It actually does in a way - makes us look like the irreplacable nation that you need to turn to when things go bad.

that's one reason we send aircraft carriers to natural disasters in other nations, to deliver bags of rice with giant american flags on them...to remind the world of our resources and ability to project power.

You are totally correct.

But that's not how Trump and his followers see things.

They don't understand the power you can accumulate by helping others.

Even the mafia understands, you do favors so that others are in your debt.

There are already over 100 deaths added to the USA total for Sunday. Now at 362. That number will continue to be adjusted. Don't put weight into weekend numbers on short turnaround.

At the overtime rate, agip can post approximately 50% more meaningless numbers on Sunday.

Trump should have known we would need the supplies. Helping other countries is a good thing, but I doubt Trump would have helped China if they weren't the largest purchaser of our exports.
