Also, you seem positively giddy for a “political agnostic.” Is this suppose to be upsetting for us somehow? Weldon never had the votes to get through, so Trump had to promote someone who could pass bipartisan scrutiny, and she’s stayed above the fray, generally.
Most importantly, those of us who became skeptical of the mRNA vaccines (like the former head of the CDC) are pro-vaccination in general. I know that bothers you to no end, but it’s true. But for the mRNA and flu vaccines, my kids have received the full “schedule,” if delayed. We simply don’t believe in communist, authoritarian mandates like you do. That’s it.
I’m pumped because I think vaccines are good and Weldon was a vax skeptic.
I don’t like RFK so I’m glad we have someone to check is harmful ideas.
You are not pro vaccination lol. Someone died due to antivaxx beliefs and you’ve spent the last week frantically writing novels to make sure as much blame is spread around as possible.
Seething at the medias agenda of reporting when a kid dies. So biased.
I couldn't find anything about her, except that she has been low profile in social media and in her interim role as acting director of the CDC.
I argued throughout the covid thread that the CDC could have addressed many anti-vaxx concerns by assigning a few interns to generate data studies to show that these concerns were unfounded. The CDC failed in its mission to be transparent and inform the public.
The CDC proved to be woefully inept during the COVID pandemic. Public trust in the CDC has declined dramatically in this bloated organization.
By bloated, I mean the CDC has 13,000 full time employees(!) and 12,000 contractors and part time workers. How could it possibly not have enough manpower to address each of these vaccine controversies as they arose?
There are three possibilities and chances are that they all applied. 1) Walensky was a political-appointee puppet and just did what she was told to do. 2) The CDC was inept 3) The studies were done, but the data did not support the mantra that the vaccine was safe and effective.
Monarez has a strong background in AI. Hopefully after DOGE looks at the CDC, its workforce will be dramatically reduced and reorganized to focus on its core mission... disease control.
Fisky you forgot about 4) the studies were done but antivaxxers ignored them
See: the first post in this thread which shows that COVID was dangerous beyond the elderly and the sick.
See: tons of clinical and observational studies showing the vaccine does not kill people
Not only does Harambe find it necessary to lie and create false narratives in attempts to support his arguments because they can’t stand on their own, but he also uses multiple aliases. This thread just keeps getting better.
I responded to your question.
You still refuse to take a position. No intellectual confidence. Classic midwittery.

Sarcasm confounds you. No wonder you can’t grapple with Nietzsche. “But I swear guys, I’m not 2600 bro and I’m really, really smart!”
The pathology we can’t yet figure out is why you are so overjoyed when an unvaxxed person dies…? So much schadenfreude. I mean, minimally we unvaxxed people should have long Covid after your voodoo doll antics and prayers, but if we could only just die, like if only Trump had taken that bullet!!!🤬😡.
Man would you be on a mountaintop, happiest day of your life. But, as it is, the abyss stares back at you and consumes you. Sad.
I mean, if we would only just merely get sick with Covid again, it would bring a happy tear to your eye. Alas, it’s not to be. That’s the domain of the 6x vaxxed.
The guy who stridently argues he’s not an antivaxxer says stuff like this. You can’t help yourself lol

You responded, but didn’t answer it.
Why do you refuse to answer?
I elegantly laid out the posts - mainly the intense Chokervic defending (pages and pages of copy paste). You have ignored that. And still won’t lay out a simple position on vaccines - in a vaccine thread.
This is because you’re ashamed that you’re 1) not as smart as you thought you were or 2) been unable to challenge my genius arguments

It’s ok to admit you are a progressive, socialist Democrat who loves big government subsidies for pharma and vaccines, solar and EV charging stations, and illegal migrants who come here unvetted and unvaccinated, introducing measles and TB into some of our communities. It’s ok to admit what we already know and what you ruminate about the most on LRC.
I’m pro-FULL media transparency more than anything else; the lack thereof is how communist autocrats like yourself got the upper hand during Covid to begin with and f’d up so much of society, and, frankly, got Trump re-elected. Disingenuous media is a huge problem, which launched Elon Musk’s Twitter takeover to begin with.
I’m also pro-MMR vaccine, as I’ve already stated, and I’m pro-Novavax! Shudder! Say it ain’t so. Novavax? You mean I’m ok with a Covid vaccine??? Shhh, don’t tell anyone. Just because I’m skeptical about mRNA vaccines for the groups who *mostly* don’t need them (doesn’t include youngish people not fully immunocompetent, like the girl who died of secondary complications from measles, or those who are overweight with metabolic syndrome), TAKING MY CUE from the former head of the CDC during COVID and an infectious disease clinician who actually treats patients unlike yourself, does not make me an “anti vaxxer.”
But that you need a foil is fine. I’m happy to keep making you expend needless energy each and every day. The more the merrier. The narcissistic trust fund kid loves Nietzche’s darkness. He’s addicted to it and proves it with every vacuous retort.

Full media transparency means that the media should give attention to things I think are important. Like minimizing antivaxxers deadly mistakes. ^antivaxxer mindset
Doesnt matter though. The CDC is controlled by an ardent mRNA deep stater now. We won
I also appreciate frantically trying to blame the measles stuff on immigrants. You cannot take even the smallest loss. No intellectual humility.

You say I haven’t stated my position on vaccines, yet you state that my posts on this thread are responsible for killing 400k Americans and an untold number of people worldwide.
Perhaps you should post as 2600bro. Maybe he’ll make more sense. LOL

“ardent deep stater” and “WE WON.” Thank you. Thank you for finally proving all of my points. This dude is clueless🤡🤦♂️.
The measles girl who died of mycoplasma pneumoniae because she was malnourished and not fully immunocompetent is EXACTLY the type of person who SHOULD be vaccinated. Again, you’re proving my point with this case.
You deny that unvaccinated migrants have introduced TB and measles into our communities, speaking of intellectual dishonesty? Very interesting that you progressive Democrats always seem to ignore that issue, most notably during COVID.

You’re clearly an antivaxxer with your glazing of Chokervic and amplification of other antivaxx posters. But when actually forced to lay out your position you refuse.
You also take the 400k remark quite personally which suggests you don’t want to be seen as an antivaxxer. But you are. Oh well!

You’re so focused on the cause of death because it strengthens the case for mass vaccination? Hey, good - thanks for coming around. Welcome to the deep state

This is a chart from a 2023 study "Psychological profiles of anti-vaccination argument endorsement". 1 & 3 from above map pretty well to the conspiracy axis and 2 maps to the alternative epistemology axis in that the poster's trusted sources are not the CDC or other mainstream agent.
The proliferation of anti-vaccination arguments online can threaten immunisation programmes, including those targeting COVID-19. To effectively refute misinformed views about vaccination, communicators need to go beyond provi...
While I would not claim the CDC's response to be flawless or anything near that, it's also not clear that any level of additional compilation of data would have effectively convinced many vaccine skeptics. That is, I don't think the "information deficit model applies", rather that vaccine skepticism is/was largely driven by cognitive and social factors rather than the quality of data from the CDC or similar agents. To the specific post, it's difficult to imagine how more data from an agency which one considers unreliable is going to change one's mind.
