Only proof of illegal falsification of records denying Russian meetings and numerous outright lies from many people about Russian meetings. We only have proof that Jr, Trump's campaign chairperson, and the son-in-law attempted to obtain secret information (collude) with the Russians. We also know that Comey got fired to slow down the Russian investigation (Trump said so) and we know that Trump wants Sessions out because he recussed himself and can't slow down the Russian investigation.
And if I am correct, the investigation isn't finished so no one knows what the findings will be.
But many, like yourself, agree with Trump when he says this is a witch hunt.
But many of us think think something smells really bad here.
Lets let the investigation continue unencumbered and see where the chips fall. If innocent, this will be a good way to put the issue behind us. If guilty, that's serious stuff. Trump needs to let Mueller do his job.

First he says there were no Russian contacts. Then we find out about LOTS of Russian contacts. Then he said there was no collusion. Then we find out about what was at least attempted collusion.
Plus, he fired Comey to get rid of the investigation. Now it looks like he's angling to fire Mueller to get rid of the investigation.

Furthermore, if it were clear and mandated that one had to release certain "private" information when running for office then people who know they aren't willing to do so would know not to run. The problem in the current situation is that all previous normal presidential candidates have released certain financial records becuase its logical but not mandated that one does so. Trump clearly thinks he is special and different and thus "norms" do apply to him....or he's hiding something.

Yeah but the latter was already priced in before the election. Dems see more damage potential going after the Russia connection, which even if there was no clear collusion we all know there was some shady business dealings. Shady real estate investors always have a connection to bad apples in Russia. I don't agree with the strategy, but it's the low hanging fruit.
