If there is a case to answer they should not get away with it. Evidence suggests they dropped stocks immediately AFTER a senate briefing, that’s critical, regardless of your own personal opinion or spin.

I agree that Loeffler broke the law. I was agreeing that I am generally more concerned with the situations L L mentioned. She will probably go to prison for that, and rightfully so.

I always thought Agip was one of the very few Liberals here who was fairly objective. But it seems you Libs turned on him because his comments on this crisis was not entirely pessimistic. You Liberals are chomping at the bit to destroy Trump but Agip, contrastly, it seems is rooting for the country over the Democratic party. There are others who sincerely are rooting for the country over the party, like P and Aztec and a few others, but crazies like jesse and others only want to destroy Trump. Heck, even Flagpole has said a few things of late that were pretty nicely worded and well-thought-out.

With insider trading, that makes no difference. The potential for profit and gain is the key. Claiming: "I tried to make a killing but lost" does not absolve you from a crime.
