As I said earlier, no other president, Reagan, Clinton, Bush, Obama or even Nixon would say derogatory comments about previous presidents to a large group of boy scouts. He said other crap too. Trump is a terrible role model. Simply classless. If you are cool with him doing this, I question your judgement.

I wouldn't say everything is terrible. Almost everything. And that is what happens when you elect someone who is not a leader and completely unqualified for the position.

What I heard of the speech also struck me as hypocritical. McCain was talking about how we should solve problems with Democrats and Republicans working together. But he just voted to do the opposite.

I generally like John McCain. But he can be a very confusing politician.

Don't bother trying to get them to explain themselves. They can't. And, in any event, haven't Republicans been telling us for years that the work of the BLS is subject to the whims of the executive? Any good numbers on the employment front under Trump are totally manipulated and fake.

It seems to me the person you responded is saying that Ivanka is protecting herself independently of whatever Jared is doing. They are each doing their own legal thing. Jared is out to protect himself at all costs--even at risk to his marriage. Maybe Jared is ready to move on to some young, hot intern.
