He’s certainly a useless AG.

If you guys want to tell me what numbers WOULD help you think that the epidemic growth curve is slowing in Italy, Spain, Iran then I'll see if I can get them for you. Maybe you just aren't aware that new case counts in Iran have gone nowhere for 7 days now.
If you have no idea what numbers would make you think that there are some good numbers coming out of those three countries...then this is more about you than it is about me.
This is the second day in a row you have claimed that Italy's growth rate is slowing, but it jumped up another 5,000 cases and 400 deaths today. Where are you getting your numbers from? Is it possible that your source is not updating numbers in real time, but only a couple times each day?
I'm taking the three countries as a unit rather than trying to decipher each nation's data. Unless individual data points are interesting. Like Iran's flatlined new test count for a week.
the death count from those three nations combined was up just 8% yesterday over the previous day and was negative a couple days before that. It's spiky data so one day doesn't mean much though.
It's not all good, to be sure.
Data from
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/I’m sorry your candidate is screwing up & your investments have gone south, but I had to do it to you to break your spirit. Soon you’ll be too depressed to post.
You’ll still get your thousand dollars.

Trump needs a Drug Czar. He needs to take himself out of the equation. I will say this again, he just looks disinterested. Pathetic. You may hate Rudy G. but he would make a good Czar. Chuck Schumer, who I despise, actually looked pretty impressive this morning. Trump NEEDS to make someone the Czar very soon to handle this crisis.
He just seems so indecisive and weak.

Agreed. You want him to take the bull by the horns but instead you get disinterested nonsense. You may hate Rudy G but he fixed NYC. Trump is a failure in his response. It may not all be his fault but he is not handling it as a competent president would.

A drug that has been around for some time and in previous tests has shown no benefits in treating viruses in humans. Trump is desperate.
Nor will it be "immediately available", as he claims, but will need go through months of trials. This is the "leader" who ignored the advice he received over a year ago about the need to prepare for a possible pandemic in America (NY Times today).
I'm afraid I don't understand this whole conversation from 45. May of course be just because he is speaking jibberish, or maybe not. I'm pretty sure chloroquine is already widely available. So the only "approval" it would need would be for marketing purposes--i.e. if the maker wanted it to be marketed as approved to treat COVID-19. Short of that it would just been an off-label usage. Maybe I'm missing something.
She’s giving him credit for suspending mortgages, that’s fair.
His actual handling of the virus and it’s spread has been horrific.
Trump was caught at today’s press conference, scribbling through “corona” in his notes & writing “chinese” virus.
Working with disabled people, I can tell you they really prefer to use fewer syllables & familiar words.
Sort of like agip:
“Now I’m just gonna IGNORE all these deaths because that’s too much math to do!”
He’s really doing quite well considering his mental age.

I don't even have to look this up or click the link. It's breitbart after all.
I am 100% sure she was not referring to Trump when she said "incredible". I am 100% sure she was not referring to Trump when she said "unprecedented leadership". Show me a transcript and I'll believe it.
Unprecedented leadership is true. Nothing like Obama, FDR, or Ike. Pretty good precedent.
Incredible, definitely. I don’t know anyone who still believes him.
Breitbart had to fire Bannon.
Too liberal.

She's also praising his signing of the legislation that allows for cash payments to Americans. I would call that a Socialist act that Trump supports...along with the bailouts to farmers for their poor situation that HE caused. Both of the are more fiscally liberal than I am. Trump is not and never has been a Republican. He's a criminal and incompetent, and a really horrible human.
Very simple questions to the Liberals here ... Last year 80,000 Americans died from the flu. So far about 158 have died from this Coronavirus. 80,000 is a ton more than 158. Why the hysteria over this crisis when the number of Americans who died of the flu is WAAAAAAYYYYY more than the 158 who have died from this 'pandemic."

Why are you asking that question to people on a message board and not the administration?
The administration have declared national emergency & pandemic, not anyone on here.

The people here are part of the mass of Americans who are panicking. My point - the flu last year killed so many more than the relatively few Americans who have died from the CV. This is not the crisis that the media is making it out to be. Like 6000 people die from car accidents on a DAILY basis. Again, 158 Americans have died in 3 months from this. Extrapolate to a full year and it is itis about 750 for a full year. So less than 1,000 versus 80,000 for the flu.
You’re just playing dumb now.
I suspect you’re smarter than that.
