Furthermore, the counts from one day to the next aren't that helpful. The data we have is not great anyway, but the only thing we should be looking at is the trends over several days.

Who was he actually trying to buy it for? Why not offer the same amount of money for Germany to build production facilities to make as much as possible. Then offer more money to make it available for as slow a price as possible (free). And let all people of the world have access to it. Why was Trump trying to buy it exclusive use in the US?
