For peace, in 2000, Israel offered to 100% withdraw from Gaza & 97% of West Bank effectively to the 1967 border, dismantle settlements & allow the Palestinians to establish a state with east Jerusalem as its capital if they would end the conflict.
Palestinians rejected the offer.

Palestine: 100% of Gaza, 100% of West Bank, 22% of the land in Israel with 78% in Jewish control, including land they stole from Palestinians.
Israel: Rejected the above out of "concerns" that a complete return to the 1967 borders was dangerous to Israel's security. Israel did not want their illegal settlements in those areas to panic the occupants into moving back to Israel.
Basically, Israel didn't want to station troops in Palestine to protect illegal settlements from being taken back by the rightful owners.

Those babies are nothing compared to the number of Japanese babies incinerated by Americas in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Israeli military official said they had no evidence to confirm "beheaded babies". It was a rumour that a journo heard from soldiers and spread across social networks. So, we need to wait for more solid and responsible source and evidences.
