Isn’t it kind of funny that Trump’s new Chief of Staff can’t help right now because he’s in self quarantine?
But it’s the Democrats blowing this out of proportion.

It is safe to say without some coverage trump would be demanding any CV details would remain ultra secretive. Cold you imagine if this guy controlled the airways?

Thanks. I thought that’s where you pulled it. Do you think your % data is reliable or valid at this point?
I think that it is the best information that I have available to me. Are there inaccuracies in the data?
Of course. One obvious one is the lack of testing in the US. No cases in N Korea? India? Africa? . . .
Certainly there are plenty of holes. However, given that the holes are not changing terribly much and that it includes data from 120 odd countries around the world my guess is that the trends (% growth, etc.) are not completely off.
Further, my data set covers only four days. So, we will see how they trend over time. As
i have said, I am not making predictions here. I am only providing the numbers that seem most relevant and reliable regarding what is happening across the globe.
I believe that such information is much better for people to consider than anecdotal data about a few select countries on a few select days. What you do with what I provide is then up to you. I have merely tried to give some examples of questions folks might ask that these % growth rates may shed some light on.

While any leader and their admin would be receiving some form of criticism in times like these, trump has gone above and beyond to make sure he gets criticized 24/7. Completely incompetent and reckless - wants the spotlight all day long but expects only praise despite not lifting a finger to earn any.

Trump has rendered that position meaningless anyway. Also, better to have one less tzee spreading lies on his behalf.
Could you imagine the nonsense Fauci has had to deal with? He should publish a book after the dust settles.
Foreign stock markets declined as trump spoke just now. A European travel ban, exempting UK is stupid. You’ve got to be more scientific than that.

How does Trump have ANYTHING to do with Saudi and Arabia and Russia screwing with oil prices? How does he have anything to do with that? Or this Coronavirus that originated in China? So far Trump has done a HECK of a job in controlling it. Give the guy some credit. And where is Global Warming??? I thought the Earth was becoming a fiery inferno. If Fat Hurts had been right the incredible temps would have destroyed this fake thing already.
President Trump has established better relations with Russia and Saudi Arabia than any other president in history. He will handle this oil situation better than any one else could even imagine. You know that Jared has personal bond with MBS. You have nothing to worry about.
Drumpf has such a good relationship with Russia that Vlad is intervening again to make sure he wins in November - and as for MBS, for the Saudi leader what's not to like about a US president who doesn't mind when he chops up journalists in foreign embassies.
Of course Drumpf is going to handle the oil crisis great - everything he does is "great" - including going to the can - and his call for "something big" on the economy (like a kid asking Santa what he wants for Christmas) is going to transform the US.
Americans are so lucky to have such a leader. Tweets to save the world.

By the way, this idea that there has only been one US death so far due to COVID-19 is incorrect. The latest count is 32, and that is likely lower now than what the actual number is.
SOOOOOO ... 32 deaths versus 80,000 form the flu? Smorburn I know you are not the sharpest tool in the shed but doesn't 80,000 seems much higher than 32? Are you a simpleton?
And over what period of time do the flu statistics cover? Are you a simpleton? Rhetorical question obviously.
The president is suspending travel from Europe to US.
The stock market isn’t going to like that.
Trump actually made a move against his self interest. I didn’t know he could do that.
We are going to have a tough stretch.
A recession seems likely. Hopefully it will be short.
Tom Hanks has the virus.
NBA is suspending the season.
This is some crazy sh!t.

His self-interest is to win the election. He will do anything to do that, even if it means he acts on advice he doesn't understand - provided he understands that it will work to his benefit in someway. COVID-19 is a bigger threat to his re-election than Joe Biden.

Incorrect! It will hurt the economy, which hurts him politically. But he did it anyway because it was the right thing to do. Had Trump not restricted travel months ago, we'd have thousands more cases.

Ask yourself. You actually wrote: 5. 2. (with a space)
Maybe you were drunk.

In Trumpland self-quarantine = tested positive and must hide to prevent people seeing them ill.

Okay, credit where it's due: I agree with RFH on this one.
The move in January to keep out most foreign visitors (who had visited China recently) made good sense--bought us some time. Unfortunately that time was not used terribly wisely, but still.

Foolish ones. Trump imported coronavirus to the U.S. months ago; since January. He evacuated Americans who lived and worked in Wuhan.
