The vote won by a landslide. Russia’s invasion is illegal and the international community will not recognize any Ukrainian land as Russian owned.

In early February, Putin and Xi announced: that the friendship between Russia and China "has no limits. There are no 'forbidden' areas of cooperation." It seems that there are limits, in that China did not even vote for Russia at the UN, just like China does not recognize Russia's claims regarding the annexation of Crimea from 8 years ago. And, as has been pointed out, abstaining is, by definition, not supporting.
And now by international law, Ukrainian land was seized illegally by Russia will not be recognized as Russian.
