Very unfair on unnamed athlete Pen Barker. When you've got a verified 2:34 marathon pb that is definitely legitimate the women gravitate to you. Nothing that can be done about that.
That has jogged a youtuber showdown question for me though - who do you think leans on their PB the most as a hook, and who's the most out of order doing it?
I think Ben Parker, Ben Parkes and Scullion must mention theirs the most? Scullion's a super legit time, but old (although I think he's probably still capable of a decent marathon time if the stars align); Parkes is a legit time but also old and unrepeatable; Parker's my rotter of the lot nomination - not a real PB and constantly pushes it, don't think I've ever seen or heard him do anything without shamelessly mentioning it despite him definitely knowing it's not legit.
