The stench of jealousy towards nick is getting out of control there.
His magnificent performances being downplayed. Folks are trying to gaslight us into "he's not elite".
The guy is one of the most popular runners on the planet. He should be given some sort of award for how he sacrificed his own chances on Sunday helping another runner in distress.
Nick is a man of the people, universally adored apart from by a few nerds on an internet forum.

Recovery from being a stay at home Dad that travels for every big race that he can leech off of.
Whilst I think that KiltedRunner seems way too invested in his hatred of Bester. To the point where they just seem bitterly jealous. He also does have a point that way too many posts are about Bester at this point and it’s getting boring. The 10k heat stuff was funny at first but definitely getting stale.
Consant posts of either people who genuinely idolise Bester, wind up merchants pretending to like him to annoy those on this thread who don’t like him and those who don’t like him who rise to the bait.
So I propose a blanket ban on Bester for the rest of the year with immediate effect.
This post should be the last one about him. Not sure how we can enforce this rule mind..
This thread is absolutely unreadable with all of the sycophantic pro-Nick Bester posts. One might assume that it is trolling of some kind, but it is so painfully unfunny that it's not even clear that it actually is trolling, it reads more like bots with a really boring auto-script...if so, can they be auto-banned? Or maybe it is time to make the thread for registered users only.
I think it's mainly young runners (u20 sort of males) who dislike Nick, but have not yet developed the self awareness to realise that they are horribly unfunny and that their attempts at comedy are repeatedly missing.
i know exactly who these little cretins are, they are the winchester running club u20 mens brigade. a cluster of low quality joggers who get no success with the ladies. wind your necks in or i'll come introduce myself at the next hampshire xc league fixture.
when are all these youtubers vids of valencia dropping? some proper horror shows produced by cole, RTJ and bester - are there any others who did it? the welsh jogger appears to have bottled it and not turned up. cant think of any other with any profile who were due to run
hoping Bester produces more than his regular useless POV vids and these characters actually review where it went badly wrong as although they all have appointed coaches, (in the case of Bester anyway), they appear to know best and just do what they want. the results dont lie... Cole is broken, RTJ clearly has underlying health issues from his ridiculous volume and Bester is just a clown

I'm not from Winchester, nor a virgin. I'm a 6 figure salary man who would give a lot of that up, like I'm sure we all would to be like nick for a day.
The hate is pathetic. It's quite right the thread IS all about him, when he is more important than all the other YouTubers combined.
Sad, really sad the amount of hate he gets in the form of childish, playground jealousy.
It was interesting watching Alex Yee's videos in the Valencia build up and him noting that post London one of the key things they determined he needed to do was to improve his 5k speed, and did a big block focusing on that so he'd then have the speed reserve for the marathon. Something I think RTJ could learn from.

RTJ has contacted nick, to get him to coach him. I think we all agree he could learn more from sir nick than a cyclist like Yee. Yee is just a pro sirpoc.

Maybe nick could take these guys on, or make them part of a stable he leads? I think people naturally gravitate towards his charismatic nature and would provide a good opportunity to bring some others up to his level of popularity.

Excellent suggestion. You only have to see how he is in and around races, to know he has so much to give to his fans. Why not bring some other YouTubers under his wing? Guys liked FOD could learn a lot, I'm sure nick would love to help a small little guy like that as well as others mentioned. If Yee is going to come out of the middle class world of Tri, he could do a lot worse than take advice from somewhere who has seen and done it, like Nick.

People just are in denial about nicks popularity. Over 100k Strava subscribers who hang on his every move. This puts him not just as sub elite, but elite in all but name and the envy of a lot of these wannabe nick types online. It's not even a stretch to say nick is the best thing to happen to the running boom in decades.
Regarding Nick, I'm going to be honest I really enjoy his videos mostly because I like the POV race stuff. My favourite thing is racing, and watching a Youtube video of someone else racing is rather enjoyable (crown my run is also a personal favourite) because I can kind of imagine myself there (not at the same speed but I imagine the pain/effort feels roughly the same regardless of how speedy you are). Training videos are rather boring, and videos are a pretty inefficient way to get the info anyway. Another thing I like about his videos is they actually get to the point without alot of filler; if you just want to watch POV races his channel is genuinely decent.
