That would be true of any administration. Trump's only role is to provide assurance and he's failing at that. Smart people are making the decisions so it doesn't matter what he says, but he says what makes sense to him and he ridiculously thought the first fatality was a woman and not a man.

The flu kills up to 650,000 per year. How many has Coronavirus killed? 2,700? Which would you consider more deadly? One is 650,000 and the other is 2,700. My niece is 5 and she would say that 650,000 is much higher than 2,700. Would you agree or would you disagree with my niece? You tell me.

Mortality rate almost 4% in China because they initially refused to address it (just like us)!

Outside of China, where "official" numbers are not very reliable, there have been 187 deaths out of 1102 outcomes (full recovery or death) among nations with 100 or more cases reported. That is 17%. In the US that number is 40% (6 out of 15).

Yes, those numbers are small but such numbers are ALWAYS small at the beginning of a pandemic. So taking comfort in low numbers to date is absurd. What matters is the growth rate. I guarantee the number of cases reported in the US (103 today) will be measured in the thousands within two weeks. Perhaps warmer weather will slow it from there but even then it will be back in the fall. This thing is no joke.

The President hasn't "dealt with it" - a pandemic threatens and the virus has no cure - the public health authorities are doing their best despite an ignoramus for a boss - and the "calming" you talk of is the Fed Reserve stepping in to avert the most serious financial crisis since 2008. You're as thick as a plank.
