Mandatory coronavirus testing for those possibly infected is not free. The cost is approximately $2000. And then if you have to stay in a U.S. hospital add $4000 each day you are forced to stay.
"The International Federation of Health Plans estimates that the average day in a U.S. hospital costs $4,293, compared with $1,308 in Australia and $481 in Spain."

There ultimately won’t be many casualties because of the low death rate but it sure as hell is going to cost the avg person a fkn fortune to get symptoms treated. This is going to be one of trump’s biggest downfalls... never addressed healthcare and pretended it isn’t important to people.
I read it there would be more deaths in the U.S. than in other countries because a lot of people who catch it will not go to the hospital because of the cost.
I am wondering, since the testing is mandatory and quarantine is mandatory, bot because of orders by the Trump Administration, why isn't the government paying for it?
The poor guy in the story was evacuated from Wuhan, China where he works. His company's medical coverage will not pay his costs because he is not in China, and they cannot control the cost paying for coverage in the U.S.
