It's going to glorious to see the dems fail to win White House this November.
Enjoy your loss.
There is a good chance (though not guarantee) that the warmer weather (April and May) will do wonders in controlling the Coronavirus. If that happens the market, specifically the Dow, will be up above 29,000 in no time.
Mueller is coming

I've been wondering about this. At this point I think he knows his chance of winning is slim. It seems he is wasting his time and money, and potentially hurting the eventual nominee, but maybe there is more to it. I think his decision to enter hurt Biden the most, but maybe he helped further dilute the others too and that is working to Joe's favor. I have no doubt BB is going to throw a lot of money behind the winner, but more so if it's Joe. Maybe he wants to be VP, who knows.
I believe there is some math that shows Mike staying in the race could keep Pete, Amy, Liz from getting over 15% in some states. Which would mean those three would get zero delegates. Maybe that helps Joe in some way.
But more than that, I think Mike is planning to hand his delegates to Joe at the convention. High stakes game since super tuesday is ah tomorrow.
I'm seeing on twitter some educated commentary that things are moving very fast in Joe's direction. Now that he is seen as a winner. But CA is bernie's and that's a freakin' carpload of delegates.
Pete is gone and I cannot imagine Liz and Amy are going to keep going after getting crushed in the next round. After that BB's money becomes even more influential.

Weather will help but the lost productivity has already put a nice dent in the already flailing global economy. Did you see the pollution clearing out all over China? That is a pretty bad sign for the economy. Yet another stupid statement from you claiming it will be up to highs again in no time. Get your head in the game Sally, sheesh.

When the Coronavirus first struck, the markets here took a big hit. When we had the first good news, the markets soared to record highs. The same thing will happen again. Just watch. The markets don't always act rationally.

Dow up over 600 points (2.4%). Comeback here we come!!!

No reason to, we have been discussing Dem candidates here for months now and nobody complained. It is all about beating trump, so appropriate for this thread.
I do hope LRC keeps this thread going after trump loses... trigged will need to stick around and not weasel out.
The crazy commie or the creepy man with dementia have no chance to win.
Enjoy your loss.

Germans also thought they were better off under Hitler in 1933. History can be a painful corrective. As it will also be in the US.
The world markets all flatlined after a morning bump. Your "comeback" is not happening today.

I think CV spread in the US is going to expose just how awful the healthcare situation is in our country. The FL guy that contracted CV in china had a hospital bill of over $3k for seeking medical attention. In other words, if you are a sick american you have a disincentive for seeking medical care. If you are poor and think you might have CV, it is possible you'll prefer to "ride it out" than go to the hospital, further increasing the risk of spread and death. Other countries have been testing for free and as we know the government covers it. Of course those people pay high taxes, but they have guaranteed health care and the government has an incentive to keep care at a low cost and negotiate with drug companies and hospitals.
If this virus spreads quickly here this is going to be a hot topic going into the election. The do-nothing trump who failed to help keep the public safe and healthy.
The dem candidates all campaigned for open borders which is a direct threat to our health.

Saturday Night Live has coined the phrase "Trumpslump". It's been spreading even faster than coronavirus.

No matter WHAT Trump did concerning the Coronavirus, he was going to be highly criticized by you LIbs/Dems. He could even himself develop a vaccine for the virus and you would have criticized him for not having developed it sooner. Trump Deranged Syndrome. Look in the mirror, Trollminator. You have it! Thankfully, you don't have the Coronavirus!

The guy FLEW here from out of the U.S. and is an American citizen. Do you want to Trump to cancel ALL travel, and strand Americans currently not in the U.S. wherever they are? That is what you are demanding.
BTW: Scary Mexico has few cases of coronavirus compared to the U.S. which is now seeing quarantined people Trump allowed back into the U.S. having the virus. So, Trump is responsible for the recent spread in the U.S. He should have quarantined the entire U.S. Too late now.

That is incorrect. The US mkt did not take a hit initially. Try to keep up.
US markets are booming. Thanks Trump!

Dow might rise 1000 points today. I will take the "Trumpslump" all day long!

Hitler froze the markets. After the markets were unfrozen it fell into the abyss.

Keep in mind that tzees are considering these people as foreigners since they would seem to have no good reason to leave this amazing country... if they fly elsewhere they are deemed to be migrants or liberals... like this FL guy with a foreign name Osmel Azcue - do you think tzees consider this guy american? They are rooting for trump to prevent them from getting back in.

I love that chart - shows that german stocks did fine until Stalingrad. Multiple years of war with the rest of the world and stocks did fine.
And we're worrying about a virus that seems to be fading already in its original home
