After finishing the book (yes, I finished it in a day and yes, it is THAT good), I plan on using the laid out structure to coach the runners I have. I actually plan on sending them all copies as Christmas gifts. I WANT them to be independent and think for themselves. Of course, I will do my best to explain the nuances and coach them through their individual races. I also program their individual strength training, so having a tool that can help explain some of the running programming I do is a good thing! Especially since none of them are beyond the 8h/week guideline. I myself am only just getting there.
Sirpoc, you have outdone yourself.
This is great, I think a good coach can use this book, rather than feel threatened by it. Unfortunately, I think some of the old school guys will be in the latter.
