Then why don't you guys change the picture and slogan on the RV? Put a picture of him on his little mountain bike and leotards with the "Periodically Biking Across America" slogan.

Is it just me or has any one else noticed how actually any one who tries to do some thing big (whether they fail or not) for charity or to raise awareness comes under fire from this community? And also how you can tell by reading other threads that it is all the same people (a minority at that). The same accusations, like any one who does something big for a good cause "fakes their GPS data" seriously who actually knows how to "fake GPS data" apparently it is easy to do? Therefore if that is the case I'm guessing any one could do it, including all the "known runners" out there, so essentially every one could accuse every one of "faking GPS data" right? Because it's so easy to do. Any one who does any thing big for charity is a "scammer" a "lier" a "fraudster" a "cheat" when in fact it is usually the loudest ones that have the most to hide. This is meant to be a running forum where people can get help and advice from others. These people have merely picked this guy out with no evidence of him ever being a cheat and trolled him and accused him so on and so on as they have others, purely because he is doing some thing that these trolls can't do, not because he cheated or lied or faked data because there simply is no proof of any of it. When you look at the bigger picture i.e. Other threads it is now clear to me that it is these trolls that are bringing down the Ultra Running Community. Get your own lives and leave other people to go about there own lives.

We are desperately waiting to meet "this guy".

The question is if Darren is doing something real. letsrun.com is dedicated that others make positive changes in their life's and we like to see that Darren uses his bicycle more and the RV less. It would be good for his heart rate, he is monitoring so hard along the way.

Will Darren be running if I meet up with him? It's too expensive to fly with my bike.

Kavinoky claims in this video tweet on May 17th in El Paso that his leg is all healed and he will be doing more running now. So less than 5 weeks between when he claimed he injured himself on the first day (April 19th). But in past videos he claims this was a "serious" injury that the "specialist" says he must stop running for a minimum of 8-10 weeks.

Nowhere has Kavinoky claimed he will only be biking.

I'm sure that you run so fast and he is so slow on the bike that you'll be able to keep up with him. Plus, if he's just riding in the RV, like you say he is, why can't you just sit next to him.

If the answer is YES, how far did you ride, and was the RV purposely driven slowly at bicycle speeds (12-15 mph) in an effort to make it appear as if the bicycle was still being ridden?

So even if it it's a computer bot, the bots are what drives all of the traffic on the internet. They retweet and multiply the effect, and that goes to real people. Plus, doesn't this guy have a television show on HBO as well? Just getting product placement on that would be grand.

I'm thinking I should offer to buy him and his buddy new road bikes. They'd certainly go a lot faster than on those clunky mountain bikes. How much exposure do you think he'd give me for that? Maybe a $2500 bike for each of them?
