The course was ankle deep mud in most spots and runners were slipping all over the place.
I ran the race and the course was a wreck. The course is not easy to begin with and the footing really slowed the times greatly.

Any old-timers on here who can compare it to 2005(?) when Hamilton hosted NYSCTC? I remember it being fairly muddy that year...
Hamilton hosted the NYSCTC last year (2008) and it was wet an muddy then. Results at http://web.stlawu.edu/sports/nysctc/results/nysctcccmen08

unimpressive really, except for murdock and o'brien's times, everyone else seemed to not run well.
didn't murdock get 3rd at foot locker finals his senior year? How/why is he running the cortland meet? does Syracuse have that many better runners than him?

He had to get surgery on his achilles last winter and didn't run for 5 months.
The Cuse just won the Wisconsin meet last week with many top 25 teams there. They won by 50 points over Georgetown I believe and they were unranked going in.
Chris Fox has built a VERY good program at Syracuse and they will definitely be a contender for top 5 or top 10 at natioanls.
