In ‘98 Meb was individual champion under Larsen, but no team title.
Women won the outdoor team title in 2004, and the indoor team title in 2000 under Bolden. Field events. Back in ‘82 and ‘83 they also won outdoor team titles.
Outdoor men’s team titles - in the ‘50s, ‘60s, lots in the ‘70s, and the ‘80s - were done without much (if any) distance. No XC team titles for Ucla ever.

Came here looking for openings to possibly start a coaching career after my time as a student athlete, and all I see is drama and crap talking each other. Be positive for once and build each other up, that’s what coaching is all about-improving the student athlete experience. Not making your peers look like failures. I don’t want to hear that “welcome to collegiate athletics” stuff I’ve heard for the past 4 years. It can be amazing.
