Looks like Caryl and Petros will just swap jobs. The question becomes, "What will their staffs look like?"
Asked before: who is the new distance coach at VCU ? ( not on their web site)
Are we really sure Beth is out at Tennessee?

Why would Caryl do this? And what is your source? This just doesn’t make sense.
Can we also get an answer as to who left BU? They have a full staff still listed.
Oof. This is damning. Coaching can be a tough gig. But, I can't help but think that these athletes sound a little too needy. As I coach over the last 20 years, I had almost a dozen kids who requested psychological/emotional help... and all of them were in the last 4 years.

What is damning about this? "Allegations" of a coach that some athletes felt either didn't support them enough or "psychologically abused" them without really anything stated that is significant. A coach cannot be all things to all people. Some athletes, especially in distance running, don't really want to train hard and are outraged that coaches have expectations. There are some athletes that fake or exaggerate injuries, take the money, and do nothing for it.
If the guy is so bad, don't go there. Don't get coached by him. If he is so bad, if people stop running there, he won't have a job.
Sadly, this kind of social media lash out, with vague accusations followed by a massive number of people who know nothing about the situation "supporting" the "victims". Followed by coaches losing their jobs and their livelihood without proof, just based on PR concerns, is common and accelerating.

This is impressive. She competes as a student-athlete at ASUN Champs, and then is hired full time 4-5 days later. Props to their HR department
Florida is finished. What is the word on Kstate and who has Iowa been in contact with?
Better question is who takes Nebraska?

And zero coaching experience? WTF???
Having a young recent grad can be very helpful in relating with recruits... arguably the most important part of college coaching. I would wager that she is a better hire than many “experienced” coaches who are out of touch and can’t relate to high school kids via Instagram/snap chat and text.
uh, is that the most important thing in coaching? Clearly you are not an adult if that is what you think. Many many possible pitfalls with a coach that was just on that team. I have no skin in the game so I really don't care but I thought your comment was way off. Having a coach with life experiences that can guide young people through years of growth is WAY more important than someone that can relate to them. A high schooler can relate to them but not a great choice to run a program.

This is why women aren’t getting respected as coaches in the NCAA... while the older women who are in this sport should speak out against these types of hires, they’re just happy women are getting hired. Oh well carry on....

This is just the same as Dunbar to Virigina and no one complained about that lol

Dunbar volunteered at Oregon and Boston (albeit probably mostly training but still) before being an operations assistant at Florida and then getting a job at Cal and finally ending up at UVA. So no, we didn't complain. Oetting has literally just finished her collegiate career and has literally no coaching experience of note. Don't get me wrong, I hope she does fantastic in her role. But you can't actually believe the two are comparable.
Iowa Throws is posted on ncaa website. Who is front runner at Iowa?
