Not to single him out. All politicians play a shell game with tax revenues and government expenses.

Now - Mexico could actually pay for the wall by sending Mexicans over with materials to build the wall.

If congress passes a bill that says the Wall St. tax goes to pay for education then that's what it will be used for. It would take another act of congress to move the money somewhere else.

Of course, they could pass a bill that is more flexible but that's not part of Bernie's plan.

Yeah, that's not gonna happen.

You're talking about treating it like social security and medicare.

And even in those cases, their funding are line items in a ledger and the actual cash is in the general fund with an IOU.

SS tax has been paying for other parts of the budget for years if you look at the cash flow.

NO WAY Congress does something like that.

As hard as it is, it is still much simpler for Congress to enact a new tax and a line in the budget for education than create a new fund.

He is right about that last one. No one cares. Bernie makes his supporters feel good, just like Trump makes his supporters feel good. And when people feel good about themselves, they do good things for the country.

Eggheads still don't understand that. It's consumer confidence that drives the economy. If they feel good, they spend more money. And that helps business.

Trump can only think far enough ahead to when his next taxpayer paid for golf vacation will be.

He only though far enough ahead to that Sanders would be easiest for him to beat.

Trump never once considered the impact of Sanders as an opponent having on Republicans in any other other races. And the impact is a disaster for all Republicans.

Well we all marveled at how lucky Trump and we have been not to have an international crisis on his watch. Looks like we might have an international crisis on his watch now.

Obviously a major problem with Trump is that you can't believe a word he says. He lies as easily has he breathes. So he will no doubt spread false information when the virus hits the US. And he will fire anyone who does tell the truth. This will be a serious problem for the world.

And how will he deal with the stress of losing control of the headlines? Will he do his usual thing and do something spectacular to grab them back? if so, look out.

And of course this will slow the economy and stock market - the two things he can campaign on. That's going to drive him nuts. Although I suppose he'll just lie about it all and his people will go along with it.
