It’s disingenuous to call that praise, he simply stated a fact that literacy is good for people. Or are you saying that literacy is a terrible thing just because Fidel used it?
Good thing there was no ulterior motive in the Cuban National Literacy Campaign.
As I said before, you millennials need to study history.

So teaching people to read and write is bad if Communists are doing it? And there are no social and political values implicit in the American education system?

Millennials do not equate socialism to totalitarian communism. They have no memories of the Berlin Wall, they only know about 9/11, Bush’s massive fk ups and the rise of trump’s dictatorship.
The reality is that young people have always had an affection for socialism and promises of utopian communities. Part of the whole "being young and naive" thing.
What's really interesting is that Congressional approval is at rock bottom for all demographics and general trust in the government couldn't be lower, but all these Bernie supporters think handing over things like medicare to the government is a good idea. Yeah OK
It is not just "handing over things like Medicare" to the government. It is STRIPPING away the private health insurance of health insurance of roughly half the population - 160 million Americans would have their private health insurance stripped away. Many really like their health insurance. You really think huge swaths of those people are going to be voting for Bernie? I don't think so.
You would know about STRIPPING, you wear velcro straps on that outfit, I bet. Saves time.

I have no idea what you are talking about, but I am pretty sure that it involves something pretty sick and you seem to know quite a bit about it. You are exposing yourself.

How many people with insurance in America can even afford to go to the doctor with all of the out of pocket expenses that come with the insurance premiums? I don't think most people like their insurance companies, they like their doctors. Health insurance companies have never innovated anything in healthcare and in no way make your doctor take better care of you. The government is not sitting around a board room trying to figure out how to maximize profits on someone with cancer like insurance companies do. Maybe I'm wrong. Who here loves their insurance companies and why?
The lady doth protest too much.
Exactly right, and many have no insurance other than the emergency room, which is the worst & mist expensive way to do it.

And so Bernie would put everybody on Medicare for all. And when I say everybody, I mean EVERYBODY!!! Health insurance to illegals. His open border policy would allow tens of millions of Latin Americans and South Americans flee their impoverished countries and come here for free health insurance. Medicare for All is estimated to maybe cost $50 trillion but that is not even figuring in all the illegals already here and those would be coming in mass in the near future. How much might it cost? $100 trillion? Even more because we know estimates are always low-ballers.
Bernie will give the vote to traitors in prison, so you’re covered if he wins.

Cause trump would never praise a communist
https://fortune.com/2018/03/04/trump-xi-president-for-life/Even if that Bernie story was true what makes you think anyone cares?

smh The straw man cometh.
Hmmmm. I wonder what the rationale was for the Cuban National Literacy Campaign.
Don’t equate the social and political values taught in the US educational system and that taught in Cuba.
The rationale for teaching you to write was to spread lies, clearly.

I’ll bite. What lies?
A vote for Crazy Bernie is a vote for Communism.
