To agip and others who aren’t so crazy about Bernie. If the main worry is trump winning again, this should comfort you. Millennial turnout doubled in the 2018 midterms. I can only guess how high it’s going to be for Bernie. Nevada was a good indication, but Super Tuesday will cement the strength of his movement. Millennials are being mobilized like the “forgotten man” in the rural areas were in 2016. I don’t need to say which group is larger and getting more fired up. Trump is worried, has nothing to say about Bernie pulling ahead.

Millennials do not equate socialism to totalitarian communism. They have no memories of the Berlin Wall, they only know about 9/11, Bush’s massive fk ups and the rise of trump’s dictatorship. Bernie has been doing well with all groups. Biden couldn’t manage a double digit win with minorities in Nevada, that’s telling. Bernie seems to be consolidating the vote and we should feel very comforted to see that. The communist label is going to only scare old white trumpanzees - who cares. Do not forget that trump has spent all this time, energy and money trying to stain Biden, while completely neglecting Bernie. Bernie is not even running on being able to beat trump, he’s been operating above that and sticking to his bread and butter issues and it’s working.

It will be nothing short of hilarious and glorious to see trump lose to Bernie. I will happily vote for Bernie in the primary and general elections. I will happily volunteer my time for his cause in swing counties in PA. And if Biden or someone gets up there I will be 100% behind them too. Any functioning adult.

Policies just don't matter in the general. Biden's fall has shown us that. Any look at the history of presidential elections in the US has shown us that. The general is all about momentum, charisma, and verbally one-upping your opponent.

It was confidential. The fact that it was to a bi-partisan congressional committee is irrelevant. I get it that you are so used to leaks that you expect anything and everything that sounds bad to Trump to be leaked and for that to be okay but it is not. Moreover, the reports today are that there was zero intelligence behind those reports.
