If Crazy Bernie were to become POTUS, Putin will give him a dacha by the Black Sea where they can vacation together.

I'm sure this will be addressed by the campaign as it seems to be the latest line of attack from the right. I'll wait for all the facts to come out.

The important thing is Bernie's platform today rather than what he might have thought about 50 years ago.

But if you do want to go way back you will also find that he was often on the right side of history. He protested against segregated housing in the early 60's and attended the march on Washington where MLK gave his famous "I have a dream" speech. He also organized against the war in Vietnam.

He has fought for justice and liberty for the powerless his whole life. And he's still doing that today.

Well I don't think it goes both ways here. Sanders has shown us that he admires a mighty strong central government that does some nasty things in order to reach its goals.

When Bernie and the rest of the Western world shut down the oil industry then Russia will be weaker than ever.

There's an easy scenario here: Bernie wins, and says 'I'm helping the powerless by declaring a national emergency and taking money from the military to build homeless camps in every city with free healthcare and college for undocumented immigrants.'

Trump has shown us that presidents can grab money when they declare a national emergency.

And we'd rightly be pointed in the direction of bernie's old speeches: 'he told you exactly what he wanted to be and you ignored it, morans.'

Trump corrupt act of the day: firing Maguire just because his intelligence report to congress included information about Russia targeting our 2020 elections. Nobody is allowed to suggest anything that would remotely make trump look weak or illegitimate. Never mind the actual national security threat.

Just another action that would have put any other POTUS in a world of trouble within their own party.
