fwiw lactate values are dependent on individual runners. (as people aerobically develop, they get lower anaerobic energy contributions to their racing, or smth.) iirc bakken observed that why he described as 4mmol might correlate to another value in a more or less trained person.
that said, i believe the godfather recorded 3.5mmol for the sub-t reps? tho i cant find the exact comment.
easy run lactate values dont matter, dont waste your lactate strips on em, HR and effort are much more practical. that said, easy runs should be below LT1, which means that lactate levels would be below baseline, though I can't say how much by, as I've never heard of it being tested.
