I am not really very interested in this particular topic. Only interested in sound logic, accurate facts and truth in general. So, I probably will not bother responding to your response - get's boring quickly.

Nonetheless, I will point out a few things here.

1) My point was that the previous poster missed Racket's point and in fact seemingly unknowingly confirmed Racket's point in his 2010 v 2018 comparisons.

2) You pointing out raw numbers of voters ("Democrats took control of the House this year with the largest midterms margin of victory in history, surpassing the previous record of 8.7 million votes in 1974, according to NBC News election data.") appears to be disingenuous. It is percentages that matter as well as number of seats flipped. Raw numbers will tend to go up as the population increases and we had an overall high turnout for an off-year election. So the 8.7 million margin and noting that it is a "record" is not very meaningful.

3) Mid=terms with a first term POTUS have seen the following number of house seats flip (net) in the "recent" past (shown chronologically):

One could apply any words that one wishes to this sequence but to my eyes, the most recent result of a net 40 flipped seats does not stand out as historical. Indeed, ordering these results by number of seats flipped yields:

Look, I personally wish that the nation rejected Trump more resoundingly than we seem to be doing. But your notion of this great Democratic tidal wave in the 2018 mid-terms seems more wishful thinking than reality.

I follow football rather closely and have been for several decades. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF JACK BREWER. Who is he? His opinion means nothing.....black folks don’t know him.
