The problem with putting Bill up there is that Bill has no place in today's democrat party. There isn't a platform he ran on or represented at the time that the DNC currently supports. You can almost say the same thing about Obama.
Kamala is and has always been one of the most radical senators. She has stated almost no platforms, because everything she would need to say to get elected would contradict everything she ran on in 2020. Again, I hate Trump, but the democrats are riding a fake high, that is going to tumble.
All either side needed to do was run a quiet kind candidate like Tim Scott or Mark Kelly, and it would have been a landslide for either party.

Watch for Trump and his team to increasingly promote a big lie 2.0 as they sink in the polls and have no answers.
They appear to be done campaigning in any traditional sense. He can't have those camera shots of half empty stadiums. And his message is boring and low energy. Very bad optics.
Trump said "they are out getting the votes but we don't need any more votes, we are going to focus on their cheating". Because he has no impulse control he always broadcasts his unlawful plans in advance. Here is the problem. Trump has already played those cards. He is the boy that has cried wolf too many times. His rigged election stuff is not even remotely believable.
But the rest of the GOP is not happy with these statements. They need the votes to win election and don't need him to drag down the party. Trump does not care about anyone but himself. He will allow his party to crash and burn.
