I find the lack of discussion about how easy it is to fake the gmail video is to be odd.
Here's what a fake gmail site I made in about 10 minutes looks like...
The video certainly hasn't been authenticated, and it may well be possible to make a convincing facsimile of the Gmail interface.
But I think the Strava notification is a telling detail. Unlike the Legio Store orders or the email from Seth's mom, this one can be cross-checked with publicly available information. And indeed, someone in a club Seth follows made that post on January 23rd, the day before the Strava email.
The email isn't relevant to the central allegations against Clevenger (i.e. we don't think Shane Yorke had anything to do with Legio Store.) So if this is an elaborate fake, the person or people responsible must have:
Decided to include emails unrelated to the actual receipts to increase credibility
Considered Strava notifications as a way to lend credence to the video
Identified which clubs Seth follows and combed through their feeds to find any mention of EPO
Found a relevant post and fabricated a Strava notification connected to it.
It's not impossible, but that would be some incredible attention to detail to defame someone. I think a fake video would be much more likely to include just the receipts, not the other emails only tangentially related to the issue.
Absolutely. Based on his continued improvement, I think he would be a 5th man type guy now.
So he is a top 7 guy...now would be a good time to walk back some of those other statements lol. If SC is top 7, the only reason you have left for transferring to Rowan is that it's closer to home, which, again, is not a sufficient reason for that sort of transfer. Nova, La Salle, Penn, St. Joe's, Rider, even Princeton are all within commuting distance of Haddonfield. All of the reasons for choosing Rowan apply to all of those schools, except Rowan happens to be in a division with far less drug testing. Is that just a coincidence?
Please point out a post that you disagree with. I have merely stated facts throughout this thread. Most of the posters are basing their posts on immature emotions. He was not kicked off of the team. He was not top 7 while at ISU. He is running at a D3 school that is both cheaper and closer to home. Those are facts thst seem to trouble the small of mind. But facts are merely facts.
Was suspended
Was NOT reinstated
Will NOT sign a release allowing Iowa State to discuss the suspension
Clearly the disdain for his doping (which he "totally" didn't do ;)) has extended nationally. The WIAC boys are getting understandably pissed, especially LAX and Oshkosh, because Seth running at nationals is a free 20-30 points for Rowan. Leblond's petition is making the rounds in WI, and a new burner account called "WIACGoyim" has been created for the sole purpose of discrediting Seth. Hopefully something is done about this situation by the week of indoor nationals.
As a CS major (soon to be masters) who has a lot of experience in web design/development, you’re right, a fake is technically possible. But:
It would need to be made by a very skilled CS student (not just AI), and it would take far more than a couple of hours. Running a local site that imitates Gmail is simple enough (and very doable with AI), but making it indistinguishable from UI to UX, with exact fonts, behaviors, etc. is incredibly tedious. It would probably be much faster to code in every single detail than to go through the pain of prompting an AI hundreds of times and even then it would need adjustments. And then they would need to route their local IP to the fake domain (and make it dynamic). Not to mention all of the non CS related things they’d need to prepare (knowing mailing addresses, the fake store, a related strava post in a group he’s in, etc). So sure, it’s POSSIBLE, but even if I hated someone an incredible amount I wouldn’t feel like going through the hassle. And with a video that is so realistic it definitely demands investigation.

No, no, no, we're just supposed to ignore that in addition to all of what you very correctly mentioned, Seth also quickly left his D1 school in a cloud of suspicion, a school that had a very visible crew of athletes get suspended, while also showing tremendous and unexplained rapid improvement in his times! We're additionally supposed to ignore that despite that improvement, he chose to transfer to a worse school and to a level of competition that never tests. Oh, and while we're here, we should also ignore that he refuses to sign the one document that would allow ISU to release the information that would instantly clear his name if it were true.
We're probably a few days away from his family claiming they're being attacked for Trump supporters or something.

Dang man. Let this be a lesson to all the potential Seths out there: D3 contains MIT, UChicago, CMU, Hopkins, and more. Once these nerdos team up to bury you, it's over. And no amount of greasy local neighborhood divorce lawyers are going to save you.

I was able to traverse the website in a manner similar to gmail. It displayed the data I uploaded just how gmail would. Again, I feel like anyone with any knowledge about how good AI is in 2026 would know how easy it is to make something like this.
I guess you just have to take my word for it... Just as you'll have to take my word for not being a lawyer :)
I'm sure leblond spent a significant amount of time making his petition. He's a guy who clearly has a lot going for him and going on in his life., as a high level athlete at an elite academic college. I don't think many people would argue that it's unreasonable for him to have put the time and effort into making and spreading the petition! Therefore...
Perhaps someone who felt personally slighted by this whole incident - be it an Iowa State guy, D3 guy, idk - sat down with their comp sci major friend, threw on the new J Cole album, and spent a couple hours cooking something up.
The lack of critical thinking here is actually ridiculous (on both sides. Iowa Sideways you really gotta think what you're saying through bro). This is one of the hottest topics in the world of running right now. I'm taking time out of my day to comment my opinion on who might be the most hated runner in the world (NCAA for sure, at least). And there are plenty of others who feel motivated to do the same despite little stake in the situation - as is made evident by the 42 and growing pages we have here.
I would like to interject that the SC situation is way more isolated at D3 level but there will be people at D1/2/NAIA who will have an opinion on it but that number is probably not many. Marco Langon however is probably the most hated in the NCAA but I say that in a respectful and observatory way
on the topic though, someone I know said he might end up being the first man out of nationals qualifying (depending on how conference goes) because Clev took a spot. Say Clev was in fact squeaky clean from the very start even at Iowa State, cool, earned that spot; but the amount of doubt from both the D1/3 level days otherwise along the things that should’ve been done but were never done of the situation.
again, the entire point of the petition is for an investigation
He's also been heavily rumored to be dabbling with the sauce. And would it surprise you?

Given that he has way more to lose (as basically worded in an interview) than a run of the mill ncaa alleged doper, he’s too much of a cocky airhead to be on the sauce except for bicarb and his ego

And what about that guy from Furman? And how relieved are all the other offenders that their names haven't been floated out there?

Wouldn't Langdon also have way more to gain based on his emotional state and family situation?

Today I learned:
Emmanuel Leblond and the Hopkins kids are sad because Emmanuel has to settle for second place in the 5k because a talented guy wanted to run at a local NJ state school.
Settle this on the track like men. Even if Seth were guilty. You idiots think the drugs give him fitness? Wrong. It's double T, and consistency.

TheProf and Iowa Sideways going head-to-head for having the worst takes of all time

C'monn man. If you're so mad, just win the 5000m at nationals.
