You don’t have to claim it. Your Pro criminal policies demonstrate it, and everybody knows it. Wherever progressive policies are implemented the area turns into a sh!t hole. The progressive legacy is a deterioration of quality of life and it always will be.
The only thing you do well is make excuses for failure. You’re actually outstanding at that.
“We need to talk about WHO these "progressives" are. I've lived in several big cities. Their biggest demographic pattern is: young, single, childless, liberal arts college-educated, mostly white, from two-parent households in the safe suburbs. I firmly believe that they get away with their insane ideas bc their real interests/assets/inheritance remain preserved with their parents in the suburbs. So they can terrorize the cities with their loony ideas without any costs to themselves. Once they marry or grow older, they quietly slip back into a living arrangement away from these places where their ideas are implemented.”
That is a prodigious misrepresentation of the heterogeneity of the people on the Progressive Left. In fact, progressives have a highly diverse representation of people of various ethnicities, creeds, cultures, and attitudes. The nascent roots of Progressivism were developed by individuals as diverse as MLK, Gandhi, W.E.B Dubois, James Baldwin, Susan B. Anthony, and Bette Fernand.
The myth of the movement being conceived by white bourgeoisie suburban to wealthy idealists is a myth perpetuated by the right wing propaganda media. This is meant to discourage the oppressed from standing up for their civil rights and to cause a wedge between minorities with real need for change, and white progressives who legitimately care about their welfare and take action to ensure justice and equality.
SILENCE! No more talking. The ban already went into effect. You're talking after the ban. I already did 3 full hours with no talking on this thread. Now we need 30 full days so this thread can go to page 100.
They are not the primary adherents. Progressives are totally diverse. Your second point is wrong. It’s a movement by and for the working class who are oppressed and exploited by the owners of capital. You make it seem like the working class are dumb peasants who should just work and not think. You are showing how opposed to freethinking you are. Working people are smart and know their inherent rights, which is why more workers are progressive than MAGA.

I read your other post and I don’t know what you are talking about. Are you THMAAD using a different handle? And did you skip your meds today?

In fact, you sound like me when I used to be a neo-con.
I could give you a textbook defense of the Iraq War at a drop of a hat. WMD, weapons inspectors, U.N. resolutions, 9/11, etc...
That when on for 13 years until I got red-pilled.
I am a recovering neo-con.
The first step is to acknowledge that you are powerless over Marxism (in my case, neo-conservatism) and that your life has become unmanageble because of it.

Your last point is wrong and anti-semetic.
You've really drunk the Marxist kool-aid, pinko.
Do you really like the fact that the current administration has silenced free speech, defunded colleges that disagree with them, kidnapped immigrants, arrested homeless people, are trying to disenfranchise voters, blocked some of the press from briefings, enabled a Russian dictator, raised prices by means of tariffs for no good reason, occupied major cities with troops, and done a multitude of other terrible things? You’re fine with all of it?

Could you provide examples of him doing the things in your list?

There is hope!
You are conflating socio-political ideologies. I’m simply advocating for Democracy. For the working person to thrive under a system of equity instead of the status quo of oppression. For healthcare and nutrition to be a human right and freely accessible. For affordable housing and safe neighborhoods for everyone instead of just the privileged few. For millions of people of people all over the world to come to America and be able to call America home without the looming terror of being kidnapped by ICE. For recreation to be pursued by everyone instead of the small percentage who have time for it and can afford it. For quality education to be a human right and to be easily accessible. I want real Democracy that counts everyone’s vote and values everyone’s rights.
Clean up that crime-infested swamp! Then on to the next city. Losers, their enablers and apologists watch out! LFG! Border secure! That cray cray catch and release policy is OVER. ICE is kicking azz and taking names, country wide. America!

Sounds a lot like Marxism to me.
Soviet Union was a "workers paradise"!
Other parts of your post sound like they were lifted straight of the platform of Nazi Germany.

The list of injustices by the current administration is so long that typing it out on this thread would take hundreds of pages and slow the thread down to a halt. I would never be able to type the full comprehensive list. Even if I typed the examples out in a word document and cited reputable sources and attempted to post the file as an attachment, it would still be too large to post. Heck the list of grievances against this administration is so large I would need an external hard drive to contain all the pages because my PC alone wouldn’t have the storage capacity. Any attempt to actually list out every example you request is of such a magnitude that doing so would crash the Letsrun website. What you are asking for is impossible because it’s as numerous as the stars in the sky.

From the article linked below:
"In the context of contemporary American politics, few liberals or conservatives would dispute that whatever else it entails, liberalism is premised on a prevailing confidence in the ability of government—preeminently the federal government—to accomplish substantial good on behalf of the American people".
This was the belief (in their own national contexts, respectively, of Stalin and Hitler.
How did liberalism become a dirty word to Democrats as well as Republicans and why? In his new book, H.W. Brands argues that, historically, the shift is a return to normal.

In the time and space you just said that you can't cite examples, you could have listed a handful of bullet points.
Two teenagers facing unarmed carjacking charges have been released from D.C.’s Youth Services Center as President Donald Trump cracks down on crime in the nation's capital.

So el let me ask you this. Let’s turn the tables for a moment. You would agree that at least some government is beneficial to society right? And in fact the absence of government is anarchy correct? So you would agree that the belief in at least some government is necessary to ensure stability and prevent chaos? So doesn’t that prove that what you just posted, which is an effort to show that belief in government is misplaced is actually a bad argument? In fact not believing in government seems to be irrational since the absence is anarchy, whereas the belief in at least some government by no other alternative is rational and sensible. So therefore liberals are correct in having confidence in the ability of government. I just demonstrated an indisputable logical step by step conclusion.
