sally for f's sake that's a bill written by hard right members of congress.
you can write anything you want into a bill. You can write 'the moon is made of blue cheese' but that don't make it so.
and *congress* can't name someone in the *executive branch* czar of anything.
no. Yankee is the dumbest m'aga on LRC. do not attempt to take his crown.
This sure sounds like President named her "Border Czar." Maybe not de jure Border Czar but de facto Border Czar.
When Harris became Biden’s “border czar,” as critics called her, the administration was under pressure from both sides to address the rising number of migrants — particularly unaccompanied children — crossing the border and landing in poor conditions in U.S. custody. On March 24, 2021, Biden took the stage at the White House and seemed to hand the keys on the issue over to his vice president. “The vice president has agreed — among the multiple other things that I have her leading, and I appreciate it — agreed to lead our diplomatic effort to work with those nations to accept returnees and enhance migration enforcement at their borders,” Biden said.
true: Harris worked on the diplomatic side, to try to find ways to stem the tide.
false: Harris was in charge of the border, that is a 'border czar.'
not hard, sally. Come to the light side.

She was to be leading US efforts to enhance migration enforcement at our borders. Yep - she was the Border Czar but failed miserably at it.

not hard, sally. Come to the light side.
If she is leading US efforts to enhance migration enforcement - she is the Border Czar. Czar means to have the ultimate authority. She had the ultimate authority.

sally don't be lame
she was leading once piece of the effort, not the whole enchilada.
I won't try to correct you anymore on this. You know better than this!
One more thing to show what a horrible Border Czar she was - she was to lead US efforts to enhance migration enforcement at the border - yet she NOT ONCE spoke with the US Border Patrol chief or his predecessor. Dereliction of Duties - that is what you get with Kamala.

Since you care so much about the border, I'm sure you have been calling your representatives and urging them to pass the border bill that they previously wanted, but changed their minds about, after the dear leader told them to so he could "own the Libs." You seem very passionate about border security, I'm sure you must be furious with Republicans for playing political games when there is an invasion of rapists, murders and drug dealers coming across the border and they refuse to pass legislation that could actually help.

I'd be interested in hearing more context of those comments. On the surface I don't agree what she is saying. Need to hear her flush this out more.
Harris is far from my pick to be the next president. I think the US would be better off with a different person leading the country. But since I have to pick between her and Trump, I pick her all day long.
I would support more programs that promote more socioeconomic mobility. A person who was unlucky to be born in the wrong zip code should have more opportunity to move up the socioeconomic ladder. That is the American dream and ideal.
Hey, moran Trumpers: A lot the stuff that a Harris Executive Branch will do WILL be PC/woke and annoying. But you guys INSISTED on picking a guy a million times worse than ANY of that. So, you likely get to live with lots of PC/woke stuff for the next 4.5-8.5 years.
Nice choice.
I am sure you knew all about JD Vance before he was chosen and the MSM began to smear him
As should have been obvious, I was talking about Trump, not Vance.
But since you bring him up, here's ALL that we need to know about Vance: He lobbied for and accepted Trump's VP invitation. Character determined. JUST like with Trump, no evil MSM interpretation/shaping needed. He s**ks.
Why doesn't Obama endorse her? What does he have against her besides not being black?
word on the street is that Obama wanted an open convention and didn't expect Joe to put his thumb on the scale for Harris. Some tension between Obama and Joe right now - Joe thinks Obama tanked his presidency.
Obama supposedly isn't a fan of Harris and isn't sure she can beat Spanky.
that's the story for now anyway. He'll come around eventually.
I'm rather comfortable with this position: "Who gives a f*** what you think, Barack?"
Joe Biden just gave a pathetic valedictory speech designed to answer why he dropped out, and why he should still remain president. He didn’t answer either question. He’s barely alive.

My friend, you've lost touch with reality. Give it up.
You keep claiming that Harris had was leading efforts at border enforcement, show me something that even remotely supports your claim. Diplomatic efforts in Central America are not border enforcement.
If Harris was in charge of the border, why did the loony Republicans impeach Mayorkas and not Harris?
If this is the best you've got, Harris is going to absolutely steamroll Trump in November.

Don't vote for him in November.
If, by chance, it looks like Harris has it wrapped up by then, I'm writing in Biden/Carter.
In a "60 Minutes" interview from 2020, then-Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., was confronted on being rated the "most liberal senator" in the country at the time.
