You could say the same thing about Trump. One of his faults is that he doesn't toot his own horn enough.
that's either the driest sarcasm I've ever heard... or the worst post of the day.
I think the Trumpanzee troll means that Trump has no actual accomplishments to toot his own horn about. Trump does toot his horn all day long, but it is about jerking-off his base with soundbites about non-accomplishments. Trumpanzees swallow that whole.

You don't think the expansion of part time jobs with Uber, Lyft, Door-Dash, Amazon deliveries, etc. is what's keeping unemployment low now?

Did you read the Forbes article at all?
You’ve perfectly described most of the jobs created by Trump.
Trump did not create those jobs.
And Obama did not create the jobs in the previous period.

LL - not sure about that. But do you know that Uber drivers after one year quit with a 95% rate?

I understand what you’re saying and mostly agree.

Trump gave tax relief to job creators. Obama did not. That's the difference.

Earl had 20 year of fame and fortune. Would you trade that for something else?

Does that explain why Trump's tax relief has resulted in 1.5 million fewer jobs in the last three years compared the the three Obama years before that? Those job "creators" took their tax relief and enriched themselves, not that you would understand that is what happens with "trickled down" fantasy-economics.

Wishful thinking?
I gave facts.
People are leaving the Republican party and that's what's making Trump's support within that party stronger.
The fact is that swing districts have chosen Democrats more often since the 2016 election.
There are no gains by Republicans since Trump was elected.
You can point to senate seats in N. Dakota, Missouri, Indiana and Florida, but Trump won those in 2016. Dems that were there were from the 2012 election. It was 2014 when R's gained the senate.
Virtually no state or district that voted Democrat in 2016 has moved to Republican since that 2016 election.
Plenty have left the Republicans to vote Democrat.
Maybe that will swing back this fall, but there does not seem to be a trend headed that way.
There's a lot of weird claims here :
The fact is that swing districts have chosen Democrats more often since the 2016 election.
How many elections have we had since 2016. One midterm (where power almost always historically switches)?

Ah yes. With the exception of the gains, there were no gains. I agree.
The current situation is far from simple and almost impossible to discuss without invoking voter preferences and rationales that change by the second. We might as well have a human psychology discussion. That's without even getting into various socio-economic factors and it hurts my head to even think about. Contrast with 2008 and even 2012

So the point is they go marked down as employed but not stable.
And Healthcare for them is not often available.
Trump has shut down advertising for the insurance exchanges.
The number of uninsured is rising under Trump which is driving premiums up for everyone.
So you get a good employment number but people are doing worse.

Not worth it. You would prefer to be rich and unable to leave your own home, and have to pay someone to wipe your ass. No thanks.

Bingo, the forgotten man forgot to think that one through.

The gains were in states that Trump won in 2016.
Show me places where Trump did not win in 2016 that have since voted Republican, anywhere.

Agreed. His bigger hands belong to a racist.

Seeing as how Trump won the electoral college last time, I'd say the burden is the other way around for Democrats to flip Republican districts. Also, again, we've had 1 election since 2016 so I'd hardly hang my hat on that as a paradigm shift.
None of this really even matters and I don't remember what point either of us where trying to make
