I dunno. Negative campaigning works pretty well to stimulate turnout.

Fear and hatred are good tools for motivating people to vote.

Certainly republicans have mastered that tool.

I haven’t seen any evidence that he will violate his own principles, and I think he’s very genuine and honest. He certainly isn’t going to try to trash the constitution, lie more often than he speaks, rag on war veterans, disabled people, and disrespect anyone that doesn’t agree with him. He has solid principles and some of his progressive ideas are very underrepresented in government. He also has been very consistent, people trust that. He has a solid shot but nobody should be freaking out about him yet, Biden is king in the south. The dark horse is definitely Bloomberg, he’s sneaking up quickly while everyone else grabs the headlines.

Yep, and this time fear is real, it’s tangible to people - we’ve all been living with the disaster in the WH for several years. Trump has been doing a lot of work for Dems though, the more he shifts to the right the more the left will mobilize against him.
