Granted, poli sci is not a hard science. But it is a science that, in her case, is based on quantitative analysis.

In light of her response on Twitter as reported by agip, I'd accuse her of not only being provocative but also as being totally trite. It's been widely believed that tribalism has increased in US politics and has been developing since the 90s for a multitude of reasons. Her thesis is that it's different this time, but wait, it's also the same, and it's for a very simple reason. Yeah, OK.

Her claim to fame is one correct prediction regarding the House in 2018 (and an overestimation in the Senate and Governors' race), which even she admits has flipped against the White House every midterm like clockwork for quite sometime.

She's claiming a new paradigm that's hardly different than the previous with little proof and excessive language. So yeah, I'd say she's being provocative.

This is such an oversimplification of the US populace that you should feel silly for even suggesting it. As if college is even remotely a gateway to "honor," or truth and science (which as I've mentioned like a dozen times now has been under assault precisely from liberal arts colleges, among other vectors).

It would do Democrats well to actually understand how we got to the point where we ended up with Trump, but hardly anyone wants to have that conversation because it's so much easier to just say Republicans are retarded and racist.

Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Iowa and Florida. I believe some of those states could be flipped back by a moderate Democrat. Obama was after all a moderate Democrat also.

First of all, fair point. But I don't know that guy as well and anyone who takes the handle "Trump" has a high likelihood of being a troll. And there's a difference between "blatantly retarded" and "over simplification that could use some deeper thought." The former isn't worth my time, but the latter could be.
