How many unregistered handles have you used today?
Besides more crime, many (including ‘pubs) have noticed trump acquiring more pounds and more mental issues. Time doesn’t stand still.
If trump was king or even worshipped as a living god, his deficiencies would still become a problem. This won’t end well.

It's clear you think as poorly of Trump as many do so you don't wish to have four more years of him as president.
My take on Trump is he is the worst president in the history of the US. The reason he is so bad is that he is a con man, he's only concerned with his own personal gain, and with the exception of conservative judges has really done nothing for his republican base. Everything else he's done is either a false claim, something done to fire up his base, or has just been a continuation of what was happening anyway. He has nearly ruined our relationship with all of our allies and single-handedly seriously damaged our world image with those who actually used to look at the US as a beacon of democracy and freedom.
I point this out because as radical as he's talked... congress has really done nothing with all of the things talked about. I feel that it will be exactly the same with Bernie... none of his radical ideas will get passed... he can talk about all off the big things he wants to do but it won't happen... but the benefit off having him (or anyone other than Trump) will be that he won't do anything to further damage our world standing... and he won't be an embarrassment for the US like Trump is. or corrupt like Trump is.
Hopefully, if Bernie does become the nominee, you can just hold your noise and vote for him over trump because a non-vote or a third party vote is actually a vote for trump.... especially since you voted for HRC last time.
Just my take anyway.
I respect your opinion on this and I don't even think it's necessarily wrong, but I disagree, and as I told agip, since a vote for a third party is not literally a vote for Trump, the argument quickly devolves into a battle over the meaning of "is" and what the equivalency means for the outcome of the race. We simply plant our flags on different hills. Maybe my mind will change but we should really stop and think if we, as those who consider ourselves to be closer to the middle, find ourselves holding our collective noses to vote for Trump or Bernie and what that means for the country.
This is all moot anyways because Bernie won't make it out of the primaries. His base will screech forever that it was rigged though, I'm certain of that.
How can you be certain of that?

Were there any actual situations where the racist behavior incited violence or did the “racists” say something that hurt their feelings?

Not sure but I trust the opinions of those who serve more than whatever you’re angling at.

Thanks for the measured and well thought our post. It's nice to see that here .
I can certainly respect your thinking.
I do hope you are right and Bernie isn't the nominee because I don't think he can beat Trump and I don't think this country can withstand another 4 years of him....

Your smartass comment is racist!
You see white people who support black folks and you mock them.
Telling.
Sometimes I see straight people who wear rainbow flags in support of their gay friends.
Maybe the white folks in that picture have friends who are (oh no) black?

Not that I wish to pat myself on the back, but I have predicted all along that Trump's 2016 victory was the beginning of an eight-year, and possibly longer term. The optimism of liberals who think this disaster could be contended with butter knives are, frankly, deluded idiots. Think this is not as dangerous a situation as 1933 just because there is not a similar domestic body count? Think again. Were most Americans not so distracted by their iPhones, their Netflix binging, their 401k accounts, their bourgeois leisure activities, they might possibly have the vision to see the transition to post-democracy America on that is picking up speed. The only thing that is going to stop this transition are things that will not happen until it's far too late, such as general strikes, the routing of the leadership of the Democratic Party, and regional disengagement from Federal policy.
I fear you are correct.
I am optimistic that we should win in November if it is a fair election. But that's a big IF.
It already is not a fair election. Trump cheated. He not only cheated, but he got what he was after...doubt about his toughest rival among those who don't pay attention much and the utterly stupid. It is beyond ridiculous that he cheats and gets caught doing it and his party (sans the only one with balls, Mitt Romney) says it's ok.
I am not a religious person, but I DO respect people who get their moral compass from religion...or from martial arts, or from whatever...AS LONG AS THEY SHOW that morality. Romney did what a true religious person would HAVE to do after taking an oath before God. All the others put Trump up as their God. Insanity rules the White House and the Senate and a larger portion of America than ever should be.
