Yeah, trump was pissed at Boris because UK is going with Huawei! And Boris was actually SURPRISED about fat boy’s meltdown!

I never thought he & ‘pubs would be this bad, especially ones who are gone or not facing re-election. Tillerson, at least, admitted that the problem was that trump would only suggest strategies that were illegal.
Jesse has a little pink panties in a bunch. His posts are increasingly hostile. Jesse, take a break and go for a walk. You are stewing right now. Not healthy for you .

I’m voting for Biden in a few weeks. If you guys vote Sanders as the nominee, the consequences are on you.
I suggest you do some research on Sanders’ position.
I've said that I prefer Biden over Sanders.
But I prefer Sanders way over Trump.
Now I have researched Sanders' positions and wonder what consequences you are talking about.
He may die soon or have more heart attacks.
He can only pass what Congress votes on.
The executive orders are limited.
He's not going to make obnoxious, divisive tweets.
He'll push hard for healthcare change.
He will push for a tax code that pays for things.

So funny. Is that all you have?

I suggest you do some homework on Trump's position. Bill Bar, speaking for Trump (a trial balloon): "US should buy control of Nokia, Ericsson to fight Huawei."
Yup. Trump wants a national controlled phone supplier. So very communist of him.
Barr -- "There are only two companies that can compete with Huawei right now: Nokia and Ericsson. The main concern about these suppliers is that they have neither Huawei's scale nor the backing of a powerful country with a large embedded market like China."
Barr proposes U.S. ownership of a controlling stake, either directly or through a consortium.

Reminds me of 2016.

Yup. In 2016 Trump was the undisputed King of Whataboutism.
I told putin his girl sally didn’t actually know how bolsheviks & mensheviks got their names. Honestly, sally, I studied that $hit 40 years ago & still remember it!

Awesome. Vote for him. I’m not.

F'in Ben Sasse wrote an essay defending his position
AND NEVER EVEN MENTIONED A BIDEN OR AN INVESTIGATION INTO BIDENS.
To Sasse's credit, he agrees Trump made bad mistakes and shouldn't have done what he did.
But Sasse, and other R senators, completely ignore, push aside, don't mention that Trump was attempting to corrupt our elections.
Sasse only talks about the delay in aid.
Un f-in believable.
Rs still are able to shock me for some reason.

I think what republicans and democrats (and all of us) should ask themselves is what would my opinion be if Obama had done this. Just say Trump was running against Obama in 2008. Trump had some, possibly shady, business dealing in the Dominican Republic. Congress had voted aid for the DR after a hurricane. Obama has a conversion with the DR president and wants a favor. Can you investigate Donald Trump's business dealings in the DR. And he withholds the aid. Do you think this is wrong? Is it impeachable? If not what should be done? Then what if during the house investigation Obama refuses to allow any of his staff to testify to the house. Refuses to hand over anything except a sort of transcript of the call. Would you be okay with that?
If you are a democrat would you come up with all the same excuses the republicans have? If you are a republican would you have the same anger that democrats do?
If blah blah blah

Jesse - please don't cry just because Trump was acquitted. We all still love you. Please don't pout. Life has setbacks. this is one of those. Just enjoy the fact that Trump will be gone in 5 years. 5 years goes so quickly.

Sally, please don't whine because Trump is forever impeached, and received 48 conviction votes in the Senate. These are FACTS.

It's all hypothetical. In such a case, I can make Obama President any year I wish:)
My guess is that almost all of you would have a different opinion. Almost all of us have stopped thinking for ourselves. We follow our tribe no matter what.
Which is a shame - IMO.

The majority of Senators declared him not guilty. THOSE are the facts, Jack.

I didn't say I would stay home if it's Bernie, I merely said I would not vote for Bernie or Trump. I do intend to vote as I always have.
Racket, it appears to me you are one of the few non-trolls who post on this thread (hopefully I'm right otherwise this is a wasted post)..
It's clear you think as poorly of Trump as many do so you don't wish to have four more years of him as president.
My take on Trump is he is the worst president in the history of the US. The reason he is so bad is that he is a con man, he's only concerned with his own personal gain, and with the exception of conservative judges has really done nothing for his republican base. Everything else he's done is either a false claim, something done to fire up his base, or has just been a continuation of what was happening anyway. He has nearly ruined our relationship with all of our allies and single-handedly seriously damaged our world image with those who actually used to look at the US as a beacon of democracy and freedom.
I point this out because as radical as he's talked... congress has really done nothing with all of the things talked about. I feel that it will be exactly the same with Bernie... none of his radical ideas will get passed... he can talk about all off the big things he wants to do but it won't happen... but the benefit off having him (or anyone other than Trump) will be that he won't do anything to further damage our world standing... and he won't be an embarrassment for the US like Trump is. or corrupt like Trump is.
Hopefully, if Bernie does become the nominee, you can just hold your noise and vote for him over trump because a non-vote or a third party vote is actually a vote for trump.... especially since you voted for HRC last time.
Just my take anyway.

In a real jury trail. A simple majority results in a hung jury. Not that you would know that.
And, he was not declared "not guilty" by any Senator who voted. Not that you would know that.
jury *trial*
