I do think that unless it is Trump v Biden, turnout will be lower. Sanders/Trump/Warren turn off a lot of voters.

The stock market, I can assure you, will tank if he wins the election. His policies could make the market drop 50%. Everything he supports is bad for the economy. His policies would stifle any growth for the country. Same with Warren.

If Bernie wins, the Dems maintain the House and win the Senate, then even if his most radical policies would not pass, the market is taking a big dive. Dems controlling everything with Bernie at the helm would enact some serious stuff to negatively impact the market and the economy. Tax rate increases, capital gains tax rates increases, corporate tax rates increases, etc., etc.

Liar, that’s what the bailout was for, to avoid harming the market as a whole. They just forgot to throw taxpayers a bone.

I prefer Biden for all the reasons we have discussed but he is certainly a weaker candidate than he would have been 4 or 8 years ago, plus he just hasn't electrified the base yet. I wouldn't write off Sanders as a weak opponent to Trump. There is a massive chunk of voters in the midwest who went for Trump in 2016 but liked Bernie better. The whole socialist conspiracy theory may motivate more Rs to vote for trump but I think Sanders has a bigger opportunity to motivate Dems, he is just a cleaner and proven candidate who displays a genuine care for rooting out corruption and making big change... the other thing that has worried me about Biden is the rub off of the Hunter thing... he's inching toward HRC likability. Sanders with a strong VP may pull it off.

Without question populism has taken over globally, and he's the only populist candidate on the left. Internationally I think he will have Obama aura. Seems to me that swing states can be won by a guy with an ambitious vision. Voters have seen what trump can do but besides his ability to break the kitchen I don't think they are sold on him. Trump is probably the least likable candidate of all time.

Sanders suddenly "getting" more donations in a single month than any other candidate got in an entire quarter is all you need to know. It is not difficult to flood his coffers with small donations made by Trumpers, and a Russian Bot Ruble machine.

First of all, don't be so dramatic. Wait until after Super Tuesday to panic.

Second, it's not unbelievable that Democrats would shoot themselves like this. It is in fact very believable, and the party has a rather impressive history of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Third, I won't vote for Sanders if he's the nominee.
