If Jesse is race waking and is anti Trump, I may need to reconsider my alliances.
Sally, maybe we should have a beer and discuss how we can fix America.

I would all be for that. The fact that he is maybe a race-walker is no big strike against him. We conservatives have a big "tent." We welcome all and would even welcome Jesse!
I knew a guy who ran hundreds of marathons and half marathons over several decades. He didn’t make it to age 70.
Trump, Biden, and Bernie outlived the guy!
Hey, I may be liberal and welcome all walks of life, but I draw the line at people who walk while they race.
We’re an ancient & honorable group.
A couple years back I got my first-ever award in a running race--a marathon, actually.
Third in my age group. Walked all the way.
And FWIW those photos are of a guy walk-walking, not racwalking.

Trump is a winner and if he says not exercising and being fat is good, I guess I need to do some major life changes. I am going to stay away from windmills too.
Gee I still wish I could have people call me Trump like you do.
I luv that guy as much as you.
You’re a confused person on so many levels! ?
My username isn’t in reference to Donald J Trump.
Agree, no to marathons, yes to cheeseburgers.
Our trump will easily outlive two terms.
I just luv him wrote:

What a weird troll and that’s saying something considering we are on LR.
Please don’t troll the trumpers, it really bothers them.

Wear the Trump name proudly! Don't distance yourself from Trump just because he was impeached. It was all a hoax you know.
I luv Trump.

What is weird about luving Trump and thinking he is an honorable and decent man. What's weird about being happy that trump had a trial without evidence and witnesses that proved him innocent. What's weird about thinking all those witnesses and others were lying about trump. What's weird about believing Trump?
I am not weird, I just luv Trump.

Impeachment is not sudden (god knows), not violent, and not (since it's a *Constitutional* process) illegal. It's impeachment, period.
Russia did nothing.
President Trump's own intelligence agencies beg to differ.

Oh, the irony.
Just a thought about the economy and how many feel Trump
is responsible for an improved stock market and relatively strong economy..
There are entrepreneuers like myself who have yet to make that break
and are really not a part of the economy aside from simple transactions to survive, i.e. buying necessities, shelter.
So I hope people consider that. I have heard stuff on this board about how some suggest I should approach things.. As an entreprneuer I drive the economy and make decisions I feel are in my best interest.
I drive it to the best of my abilities but if for some reason I go back to Canada on Tuesday, I think that would be a tragedy. I can't accept not succeeding. I have worked so hard with my project.
It is dissapointing to hear talk about an economy when I have worked so hard yet still am not quite a part of it. And I'm not the only one, there are many out there like myself who are talented, bright, etc., yet are not really a part of the economy.
Perhaps we should think about everyone when we reference a 'strong economy' and not simply claim it is strong when the truth is contrary to this.
A strong economy is when everyone is happy, not just a majority or select few. The economy is ultimately driven by human emotion. Happier overall society, happier economy.

Sorry Greg, but what you say there is simply not true. How can "everyone" be happy with the economy? That's just not possible. Also, the economy isn't driven by human emotion. Plays a factor, yes, but there are tons of fundamentals in good economies that have nothing to do with emotion. No president is responsible for the economy. Bush Jr. wasn't when it tanked under his watch. Obama wasn't as we got out of a horrible recession to a roaring economy during his tenure, and Trump is not as the good economy has continued and even gotten better since he took office. He and Republicans did prime the market early on with that stupid tax cut that only helped companies and investors, but even with that, in a global economy, what the US President does really has very little lasting effect.
We are in a strong economy. That is irrefutable. In the US, everyone who is employable and who wants a job has one. We are below the level that is considered "full employment". Investors like me have seen enormous gains since March 2009. Super low unemployment. Your view makes no sense and is just flat wrong.
I see both sides of the economy.
For instance my wife was a bankruptcy attorney & saw many people broken by sickness/medical debt/inability to work/addiction/mental illness/PTSD. Or just working & trying to support a family. I’ve done all the “McJobs” that aren’t sustainable if you catch a bad break. I’ve seen all the others like me who were donating plasma twice a week for $30 a pop.
Now I’m doing well, but I don’t think we should kid ourselves that we’re all “independent” or never had a helping hand.

Sure, natural resources have little to do with emotion. But if people are not motivated to drill for oil or gold, they will not tap into them. What I said is true. I would say the stock market is driven by human emotion. You have better emotions I suspect when your returns are doing well. You can't claim everyone who wants a job has one, that sounds ridiculous as you attempt to speak for many people who may want jobs yet not have them. That's naieve.
Your post does not acknowledge my desire to be a part of the economy. That's on me to a degree yet also on others to cooperate. It's not as though I can be excluded from the economy from you or anyone else, but I don't have to participate in it either in circumstances I don't want.
So in that way I influence the economy, by pursuing what brings me happiness.
Opinions cannot be 'wrong', that's like saying you like a piece of chocolate cake where as I find it to be bland, neither is correct.
And for the record, I am in the US, employable and want a job. Heck, I have it, it's one I've created for myself, I just haven't gotten the compensation for it yet.
If you were to go off tangent and suggest I am unemployable, that would sound very silly, but it would be your opinion. I wouldn't say it's wrong, I would say it's your right to believe that if you wanted. I might also suggest you or someone else would not be employable in my project. That may be true but I have an open mind, even though my project is not off and running 100%. You might be employable in my project but I might not choose to have you involved, or someone else. Or I might change my mind, time would tell.

The big problem with moderates is that they decided there was money in 2008 to bail out the banks, but there wasn’t money for healthcare & education & minimum wage. Subsequently, with trump & brexit, there’s been a search for scapegoats.
better to win with moderates than lose with hard but pure lefties.
The story of presidential politics is Rs and Ds dueling for moderates. Whoever wins them gets the White House. That’s the appeal of Biden.
There is no proof trump is dueling for moderates. His sole focus has been retaining his vote and shifting even more to the right. Perhaps he thinks there are untapped votes. Biden should focus on moderates (presumably all those counties that voted for Obama and Trump) but he should not neglect extreme liberals. A few bones will need to be thrown to them to get them excited.
