Think about how much this country's stock would go up if there was a united purge of this plague. Sadly this corrupt potus should be the strongest uniting factor right now. But who in government wants to give up their limited power at the expense of others? Look at all the greedy people who jumped into his circle and got burned for good... Even Barr was very well respected until he joined the trump camp... his complicity is all he'll ever be known for.

The Senate will not convict Trump and what has the impeachment really done for the dems? It has most likely ended Pelosi's term as Speaker and Dem control of the House. I really want to keep bringing this up because history is being made. One after the other Rs are now acknowledging trump is guilty but they don't want to know more. Two people in trump's closest circle are saying the public needs to hear more. Think about that... Guilt is a slam dunk yet they are going to shut this down as the first trial ever with no witnesses or additional evidence.

I think Dems should string this trial out and beat the drum on their complicity... the slow drip of evidence isn't going to stop. They are going to put the hurt on through November.

What happens if Donald Trump is acquitted and he wins re-election? Very serious question. Does he get a clean slate or will the House just continue with the investigations and maybe future impeachments on different high crimes?
